Flat Top Grill (Ampang): An Extremely Exciting & Awesome Reopening! What an extremely exciting and awesome experience to witness the reopening of Flat Top Grill's new outlet in Ampang! This new location is a massive upgrade ā it's incredibly spacious, bright, and parking is wonderfully easy here, making the whole visit stress-free from the get-go. Despite it being their very first day at the new spot, the food is still really good, just as I remembered! The lamb is incredibly tender and flavourful, and the chicken is perfectly juicy. They've even managed to improve on their sides; the cheesy wedges are much better now, with a truly awesome cheesy sauce that you'll crave. It's genuinely inspiring to see that the boss himself is still grilling the food. You can truly feel the immense effort he puts into his business, which undoubtedly translates into the consistently high food quality. This dedication is why I highly recommend you come and try, and support them! The prices are very reasonable for such generous portions, offering fantastic value. You might have to wait a little during peak times, but trust me, it's definitely worth it for such a satisfying and...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreFirst of all, it is absolutely necessary to comment here about the table seatings. The availability of tables inside this roadside stall are very limited due to space constraint. Some of the tables are placed at the roadside. During dinner time, a queue will be formed, hence contributing to the congestion effect. One must remember that this location is right at the T-Junction and worse still, adjacent to the carpark entrance to D'alamanda Condo. Safety is further compromised when most motorcyclists tend to ride against the traffic along Jln Pudu Impian IV. Those sitting at the roadside and those queueing are the most exposed.
Service is good and orderly. Taste-wise, it is just average but pricing is reasonable.
One order that is totally unacceptable is the teh susu. It is a wonder if there is any teh or susu in it. The person preparing it should try it out first, then walk across the road to try the teh susu at the...

There is a single grill and food is made to order. If you are a carnivore and miss a hunk of meat and can settle for some lamb on the bone then this is awesome. The food is cooked by Amin and Malik and takes time but is super delicious. The fries are frozen fries cooked to perfection. It is very popular and is almost always full and even when empty it is a Grab favorite for takeaway. The prices are also variable, within reason, as lamb is very expensive these days. So, if you want to knaw on some tasty lamb bones sitting under 'n awning in Pudu Ulu, where parking is tricky, then you really can't go wrong. It's a local hang out with yummy lamb, OK. then As seen on KL Foodie. Owned and run by Malik. Nice...
