I recently had the pleasure of dining at Jaipur Mahal, located in Sentul, Kuala Lumpur, and I must say it was an exceptional culinary experience. From the moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted with warm hospitality and a charming ambiance that transported me to the vibrant streets of Jaipur itself.
First and foremost, the menu at Jaipur Mahal offers an extensive selection of authentic Indian dishes that truly capture the essence of traditional Rajasthani cuisine. The restaurant takes great pride in using high-quality ingredients and spices, resulting in flavors that are rich, aromatic, and incredibly satisfying.
To start my culinary journey, I opted for the classic Samosa and the flavorful Paneer Tikka. The Samosa was perfectly crisp, with a delectable potato and pea filling that was well-seasoned and accompanied by a tangy tamarind chutney. The Paneer Tikka, marinated in a blend of aromatic spices and grilled to perfection, was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the smoky flavors were simply divine.
For the main course, I decided to try the restaurant's signature dish, the Laal Maas. This traditional Rajasthani lamb curry is known for its fiery red color and robust flavors. The tender pieces of lamb were cooked to perfection and bathed in a rich, spicy gravy that had just the right amount of heat. The flavors were complex and well-balanced, leaving me craving for more with each bite.
Accompanying the Laal Maas, I ordered a serving of fragrant Basmati Rice and freshly baked Garlic Naan. The rice was fluffy and aromatic, providing a wonderful canvas for the flavorful curry. The Garlic Naan was soft, buttery, and had a perfect balance of garlic and herbs. The combination of these dishes was a match made in culinary heaven.
To end my meal on a sweet note, I indulged in the Gulab Jamun, a popular Indian dessert. The golden-brown dumplings were soaked in a delicately sweet syrup and had a soft, melt-in-your-mouth texture. It was the perfect finale to a delightful dining experience.
The service at Jaipur Mahal was impeccable throughout my visit. The staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about the cuisine they served. They were more than happy to provide recommendations and accommodate any dietary preferences or restrictions.
The ambiance of the restaurant is another aspect worth mentioning. The elegant decor, adorned with beautiful Indian artwork and traditional elements, created a soothing and inviting atmosphere. Whether you're planning a romantic dinner or a gathering with friends and family, Jaipur Mahal provides a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing setting.
In conclusion, my experience at Jaipur Mahal in Sentul, Kuala Lumpur, was truly remarkable. The restaurant offers a delightful journey through the flavors of Rajasthan, showcasing authentic Indian cuisine at its finest. The dedication to quality, impeccable service, and inviting ambiance make it an excellent choice for anyone seeking an exceptional dining experience. I highly recommend Jaipur Mahal to all food enthusiasts and lovers of...
Read moreThe atmosphere is very bad, tables are greasy, and to our shock, as we entered and sat on our table to order food from the menu, and exactly at that point of time, the aircon above our seat was switched on! So, aircons are switched on, only when customer walks in. The service is quite good as waiters are curteous, patient and friendly. Food is not what we expected! The samosa was the only good item that we relished. The daal was burnt while performing the "tadka", and the waiters were kind enough to replace it with another daal , but, the second replacement was just the daal with boiled water, minus the "thadka" step. We just packed it home , "tapao" , on their kind insistence, but, only to avoid being rude, and we couldn't bring ourselves to consume it. The paneer masala was like half-cooked paneer with half cooked masala. The mutton curry was another food gone wrong. One thing to note when going to dine out, select the location well, if you want to meet your expectations of food richness in flavor and quality, as different locations cater for different target customers, such as, those who could afford to pay higher price for better quality...

After self serve my husband sat in same room, one of the incharge told to my husband to sit another hall. We thought maybe for easy cleaning they want to fill rooms one after other. They're communicating with smile to other customers. I really don't know what went wrong with us. ONE OF THE Staff behaviour is more like an insult than service. Literally we went from so far …. What kind of hospitality is it ??? Very...
