Have been volunteer to help my neighbors to group buy purchase the nasi lemak. Been informed the seller that I’ll go over his stall by tomorrow. Order list given and he messaged me that he will open the stall on next two days. Then I postponed the list for next two days. The second day I gave a new list due to my neighbors add on orders. Asked the boss whether can prepare early for me or not. But no reply at all. No pick up phone. Got one time pick up but hang the phone after pick up. Then I told myself maybe the boss busy. So I went to their stall on next day since the boss mentioned open it on that day. I went there early in the morning around 7.39am but the stall is closed. OMG~ if you didn’t operate the business on that day, please pick up call and said didn’t open or reply my messages that you didn’t open or didn’t do for early order. Very unresponsive seller. Read moreThe dish itself is a bit confusing. The rice is a chicken rice (not a nasi lemak rice) but the sambal is legit good for a Chinese nasi lemak. Then you have non-halal items. It's certainly a unique experience. It's a more a chap fan/chicken rice hybrid, with decent sambal + kacang + ikan bilis, rather than a nasi lemak with non-halal lauk.
Still, it's something you should try once or if you're constantly in the area. I'd recommend the pork curry over the wild boar (both me and my friend prefer the pork over wild boar). Photo with no embellishment is posted.
