I am a frequent customer of this branch. Here’s a few heads up and tips if you want to order.
If you want to order drive through during breakfast hour before work, thinking it’s fast and easy, forget about it. They take more than 30 minutes to get your order ready. My max is waiting for almost an hour just for my hash brown to be fried. As if they only start frying when the hash brown rans out. Yes! It’s fast food, but the food is NOT FAST at all during peak hours. So the tip is to order from the app as TAKEAWAY before you even leave the house at least 30 min before you reach. You risk having your breakfast cold (6/10 times when I reach there the food is still not ready. 2/10 times still hot and 2/10 times the food got cold.), but it’s better than your car stuck in the Drive-Through line for more than half an hour with no way out and getting late for work.
If you order delivery during peak hours, pls have mental preparation to wait at least more than an hour and a half for your meals to be delivered. Then when you get the order, be mentally prepared for dried cold meals as well.
If you want to dine in during peak hours, be prepared to wait for more than an hour too. And also be mentally prepared for one or two of your order being incomplete. Have to keep the staff in track by standing at the collection counter if not they forget about your missing order.
Lastly, altho most of the staff are friendly, I really have to comment about the lady handling the McCafe in the morning. She needs to do better! Imagine already being late due to the order being late, then when I want to collect my coffee from the McCafe, 9/10 times the Latte is NOT READY. Like she only start making when I stand there and ask where’s my coffee? Hello, I ordered more than 30 mins ago? And no apology or whatsoever, most of the time she just shows a bored face like she’s forced to do her job. One time she even side-eye a customer as in the guy took my latte away and she had to remake again. What do you expect when you didn’t even bother to check the receipt?

Read moreThis McDonald is it's own store located in between a petrol station and IKON mall. The facility provide dine-in, drive-thru and take away/delivery option, as such most of the McDonald's do. Driving here may be a bit of a hassle especially during peak hours since the road connected to this facility are always with dense traffic, so I advice to opt for delivery during these time. However if you feel like physically go there, just know that to enter the McDonald's area you will go through a 'gated toll', but don't fret, they don't charge you anything, you can use your TnG, credit card or debit card to enter, and when you go out just use the same card, and they will charge you RM0 (or refund all the money back if you use your bank card).
There is inhouse parking but most time it's pretty filled with cars of people dining in. There are a lot of University student that might use the restaurant as a place to do their works though. Often time for drive thru there is always a queue though, it really depends on the time of visiting, if you're lucky the queue is quite short but if not you will find your self waiting for a while.
Food wise, it is to be expected of a fast food franchise restaurant, so I won't touch much on that and the pricing. My 3 star review is solely and mainly affected by the location, the accessibility, traffic, and waiting time of the McDonald's area including the dine-in experience. The drive thru service is so incompetent that everytime i went to their drive thru, there is surely some thing missing. there was once i ordered happy meal and they didnt give me the toy, i had to go back and go to the counter to get it. most of the time, i didnt get the condiments, ordered porridge but i was not given the cutlery la, the pepper la. the most recent visit, i ordered hotcakes, but not given the butter and syrup. then i had to just use butter and strawberry jam that i have at home. My son was disappointed due to these incompetent people. these are only the three events that i can really recall. there were other time as well that they missed out fries, hash browns, etc.
Even worse, made a complaint thru mcdonalds website, only to get someone to whatsapp me then left me hanging. Lodged another complaint to mcdonalds website but nothing happened as well. Whats the use of having contact us page on your website if no action is being taken? Truly disappointing. Before any of you asked me to check my orders before i left, screw you. because it's not always a customer's job to check what they paid for. in the first place, staff must be competent to even work there.
