Dropped by Mitsu by Two Chefs at Millerz Square during lunch time with my group of friends on 10th August 2025.

This spot is run by the same guys behind Two Chefs Lab and Buri and you can really feel their touch in the food and atmosphere. The place has a cosy, modern Japanese vibe warm lighting, wood accents and a calm laid-back feel.

I ordered the seafood chirashi don, and it was a treat. The sashimi was fresh and generous.. the salmon, tuna, octopus, tamago, cucumber, tobiko all sitting on perfectly seasoned rice.

The salmon sashimi on the side was thick-cut, fresh, and buttery, exactly how it should be. The set also came with a crispy prawn tempura, fresh garden salad, some pickled dragon fruit, and leafy green.

The service staff was friendly and attentive. The staff were quick to greet, helpful when we had questions and made sure we had everything we needed without hovering too much.

The menu has a nice variety beyond chirashi. There’s kushiyaki skewers grilled over charcoal, sushi rolls, noodle bowls, and even some interesting fusion dishes like truffle uni pasta and foie gras chawanmushi. Definitely gives me a reason to come back and try more.

Overall, Mitsu ticks all the boxes for me—good food, fresh ingredients, a comfortable setting, and staff who actually make you feel welcome. If you’re in the Old Klang Road area, it’s...

Mitsu By Two Chefs I regret to inform you about a recent experience at your restaurant. I visited on Wednesday 10 April between 1:00 pm and 1:15 pm, hoping to partake in your buy one, get one free promotion as advertised on your Facebook and Instagram pages. However, upon arrival, I was informed by your staff that the promotion was not available due to it being a public holiday.

It was disappointing to learn that there were no terms and conditions provided with the promotion, nor was there any mention of exclusions for public holidays in your advertisements. While your staff acknowledged the oversight, I was disheartened by the lack of immediate action taken to rectify the situation. Despite offering apologies, there was no effort made to accommodate or remedy the inconvenience caused to patrons like myself, who had made the effort to visit your establishment.

I understand that errors can occur, but I believe it is essential for businesses to promptly address such issues and uphold their advertised promotions. It was only after I raised my concerns that the incorrect advertisement was removed, and a new one was posted.

I hope this feedback serves as constructive criticism, and I trust that you will take the necessary steps to ensure better communication and customer service moving forward. Thank you for your attention to...

Authentic, beautifully presented Japanese dinner sets at a very reasonable price!

Visited Mitsu by Two Chefs for a casual dinner and was honestly impressed. The atmosphere is warm and inviting — cozy lighting, stylish Japanese decor, and perfect for either a relaxed meal or a date night.

I tried the Sushi Dinner Set (RM68) and everything was fresh, well-balanced, and thoughtfully plated. The miso soup and dessert completed the meal nicely. My friend had the Gyu Dinner Set (RM58) — the stir-fried beef was juicy and flavorful, and it even came with fresh salmon sashimi!

What made the experience even better was their August promo — we got a complimentary crispy fried salmon head just by ordering two sets. Such a great deal!

Staff were friendly and attentive. Food came out quickly and presentation was top-notch. Will definitely come back to try their yakitori and sake next time!

📍Highly recommend for anyone looking for quality Japanese food around...

Not sure how this place has 4.8 stars RM10.50 for green tea seriously? And it’s just a tea bag in cold water, not even brewed properly. Even Rakuzen doesn’t charge RM10.50 for green tea! Tried California roll and barachirashi don, very very very mediocre food for such expensive price. The rice was not nice, didn’t taste like Japanese rice, and the sashimi was not that nice. RM89.10 for 1 lunch set, 1 green tea, 1 California roll and 1 highball. 🧐 If you are reading this, I would highly recommend you to try Uo Shin that’s just downstairs LOL. It’s so much better and half the price! Pretty sure all the reviews online are by paid influencers, cause no one who actually likes good Japanese food will recommend this place when Uo Shin is just downstairs
