Stepping into this restaurant felt like entering a fairytale — the whole place is inspired by Beauty and the Beast, with charming little touches everywhere, from the iconic candelabra to the adorable teapot. Super dreamy and magical atmosphere!

We ordered four dishes, and honestly, every single one was memorable.

The Beef Brisket Calzone was such a standout — it looked like a giant curry puff but tasted so much better. The beef inside was slow-cooked with red wine for over 12 hours, making it incredibly tender and flavorful. The outer shell was golden and crispy, creating a perfect contrast in texture. It was one of the most unique dishes I've had in a while.

The Salmon Steak was equally impressive. The salmon itself was incredibly fresh, cooked just right, and paired with creamy mashed potatoes. What really elevated the dish was the chef’s special sauce, which tied all the elements together beautifully.

The Unagi Risotto was probably the most surprising. It brought together the rich, umami flavor of bonito (dried fish) with the smooth, comforting texture of Italian risotto. The fresh, tender unagi on top was the perfect finishing touch. It was such an unexpected but well-executed fusion of Japanese and Italian influences.

We also had the Pumpkin Soup, and I honestly can’t stop thinking about it. Creamy, velvety, and subtly infused with truffle — it was nothing like the usual pumpkin soup you find elsewhere. It was comforting, elegant, and full of flavor.

Portions were huge, and for the price point, it’s such a great deal — especially considering the one-of-a-kind menu and immersive ambiance. Definitely...

So grateful I had the opportunity to dine here recently on the occasion of celebrating my birthday with my husband. Here are my thoughts:

Food - We ordered the Lamb Shank, Pollo Pesto Risotto, Zuppa Di Pomodoro (Tomato Soup), and for drinks, the Great Barner Reet and Green Forest. The lamb shank was so tender we didn’t even need to use our fork, and it melted in our mouth, the sauce was quite rich as expected; a very flavorful dish indeed. The highlight for us was the risotto! It was so creamy yet not overwhelming, and we loved it together with the crispy chicken breast (which was moist!). The tomato soup was comforting and well-seasoned; a must for tomato lovers! To wash it all down, we had our drinks that were both equally refreshing. 🤗

Service - The service is great, the staff were attentive to our needs. We also didn’t wait too long for our dishes to be served; and the waiting time for the next dish to be served was quite short (impressive!). And it was also quite crowded when we were dining. They also helped us to take some nice couple photos. 🥹

Atmosphere - It’s very cosy and you’ll notice the recognizable Beauty and the Beast theme in it. The owner’s love for the fairytale and roses comes through from its whimsical decor, making it an Insta-worthy dining place. 🌹🥰

Overall, I had such a pleasant experience. Just a note, we didn’t realize we could claim a free birthday dessert? (Not too sure because I read some reviews about it) 🤔 While we did have a staff approach us asking if we requested for a birthday cake, we didn’t realize it was something we could’ve claimed and so we said no to it. Oh well~ 🥲🤣🤣 ...

Dining at Alexander Dining was an unforgettable experience, thanks in large part to the exceptional service and warm hospitality provided by Kenzi and the entire team. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine smiles and a level of attentiveness that set the tone for the entire evening.

Kenzi, and his team, went above and beyond to ensure our visit was nothing short of perfect. Their knowledge of the menu was impressive—they offered thoughtful recommendations, paired flawlessly with our preferences, and even took the time to explain the inspiration behind certain dishes. What truly stood out, though, was their ability to make us feel like valued guests, checking in just the right amount to ensure we had everything we needed without ever feeling intrusive.

The entire team at Alexander Dining deserves applause. The service was seamless, with staff members working in harmony to create a relaxed yet polished atmosphere. Whether it was the sommelier’s expert wine pairing, the promptness of the servers, or the manager’s discreet check-in to ensure satisfaction, every detail reflected a commitment to excellence.

Of course, the food was outstanding, but it was the human touch from Kenzi and the team that elevated the evening from a meal to a memory. Their passion for hospitality is evident in every interaction, making Alexander Dining a place I’ll return to—and recommend—with enthusiasm.

If you’re looking for a restaurant that combines culinary artistry with heartfelt service, look no further. Thank you, Kenzi and the Alexander Dining team, for an...
