One of famous traffic snarl-up roads in kuala lumpur is this jalan klang lama. fortunately most of the well-known food shops and restaurants daily started in late evening. no idea why one of the famous food is Bak Kut Teh (BKT🐷) chinese herbal pork soup. originally believed the tasty has its origin in mangrove portal city Klang in which the road named after, Old Klang Road. anyway in the past Bak Kut Teh in jalan ipoh was the best that intense scent of chinese herbs in dark brown soup sparked up flame from sort of Japanese sensory panelists. comparing here nam seng Bak Kut Teh soup is intermediate but remains fully scent of chinese herbs. Nam Seng pork varieties generally are less. however quality in texture and taste is guarantee a next visit. prices are reasonable inexpensive about RM10+ each a portion. there was no green leafy vegetable dish instead preserved mixed vegetables. Uncle is nice and friendly. We ordered Pai Kuat, Fei Sau Yok, and one more meat that i cant remember the name, uncle recommended that instead of Fei Sau Yok but we ended up ordering Fei Sau Yok also.
Pai Kuat not bad, the other meat also not bad. Fei sau yok is literally just fats with TINY bit of meat, i dont like. Soup refill is free.
The soup is delly, can fight with Heng Kee PJ Oldtown soup, i drank quite abit of Nam Seng soup i got Abit giddy after. No idea why, could be the herbs inside, dont ask me what herbs im not the bak kut teh police. I drink Heng Kee's soup like crazy and im fine. It could be a one time thing.

Well, personally it is very normal for customer to ask what does your BKT come with because every BKT place does it differently. Their BKT only comes with fuchuk and enoki mushroom. A small bowl of taopok is RM6 EXTRA and bawang goreng (that goes with the rice) is RM4 EXTRA!? You would appreciate it is not about the $$ here, it is when I asked for additional bawang goreng, they did not tell me it’s chargeable…
