Atmosphere: 4.5🌟 Its located at Level 8 of The Millerz Tower E accessible as well by non resident of this Service Apartment through lift. Level 8 has nice and comfy small park surrounded by few retail shops and one of which is this restaurant. The place is quite comfy and nice.
Service: 4.5🌟 Good service.
Food: Full Course Meal 4🌟 Honey Korean Fried Chicken 4🌟, Kimchi Jjigae 3.5🌟, BBQ Pork Belly 3.75🌟, Seafood Pancake 4🌟, Steam Egg 3.25🌟 This set is for 2-3 person, I think its enough for 3 person (normal eater) if you add on 1 rice. The Fried Chicken is good and balanced flavor plus quite crunchy. I'm not a fan of Kimchi Jjigae but this one is good, not too spicy nor sour. Pork Belly is done nicely, slightly crispy on the side and not overly oily. Seafood Pancake is scary, so much ingredients (veggies) you can hardly see much flour in it and comes with nice sauce. Steam egg taste quite nice but will be better if had more veggies crunchy bits added but good value still. Also comes with 2 rice, 2 fruits and 2 refillable side dishes. Priced at Rm 98 (Rm 116 for us for Add On Steam Egg (Rm +8), Upgrade Chicken (Rm +5), Upgrade Seafood Pancake (Rm +5)).
Food: BBQ Marinated Chicken Set 4.25🌟 Chicken 4.25🌟, Sundubu Jjigae 3.25🌟 This set is for 1 person. The BBQ chicken is heavenly as the marinate taste good and the key is the very nice strong smokey BBQ flavor. Its exceptional and its the best dish for me. The Sundubu can choose what meat you wanted and we had Seafood. The broth is more spicier and more powdery. Also comes with rice, fruits, refillable side dishes. Priced at Rm 38 (Rm 41 for Upgrade Seafood Sundubu (Rm +3))
Probably one of the best Korean Restaurant ala carte I had so far.
Food: Christmas Set Meal 4🌟 Tteokbokki 3.75🌟, Kimchi 4🌟, Bingsu 3.75🌟 Back again but this time they had Christmas Set available and we got the one for 2-3 person with Add On 1 rice. Also the Korean Steam Egg we got for free by giving google rating. We had 4 person eating and decently full (70%). The Banchan (side dishes) is a bit different than last time. Just want to point out the Kimchi here is one of the few that suit my taste as its not overly sour. Other items in the set is pretty similar than previous meal except the Tteokbokki is new and its really good, the sauce is flavorful and nice. Its a replacement for Churros which ran out, which their take for some Latin influenced dish/snacks for the Christmas set. The Bingsu not sure if its with the set or its free but its sort of a chocolate/ milo flavor and it taste really good. The texture are of the Korean Bingsu shaved ice. All in all, it cost us less than Rm 132 (around Rm 33...
Read moreMy family and I were craving for meat so we looked online and saw the good reviews given here. So, we came to this restaurant to enjoy our dinner before a new week starts. We went in the restaurant and the atmosphere looks alright. We expected everything to be amazing as they wrote in their Instagram bio that it was loved and enjoyed by Korean Idols.
After we went in the restaurant, we were seated and started to look through the menu, deciding what we wanted to order. We decided on what we wanted to order so we scanned the QR code and tried to order, but the website that we were directed to was not working. We asked the workers there to help us out so that we could put in our order but they could not figure it out as well. It took a long time for the order to go through and even the table that came after us received their side dishes already. This was the first thing that disappointed us.
The next thing that disappointed us was when our drinks came. We ordered a set and it came with hot tea. When the worker came to serve us our tea, she claimed it was too hot for her to hold so she used tissues to hold the cup and served it to us. What if the hot cup of tea slipped out of her hands and it spilled on the customers? They need to reconsider their actions before done. Not only that, when we requested to refill our tea, they only refilled one cup and did not bother about the rest.
The food that came was normal. We ordered beef short ribs that was served UNCOOKED. My father had ate one piece and could not bite it at all. We talked to the workers and they went to cook it more. Soon, they came back and told us that the beef had some problems because after they cooked it longer it still looked uncooked. What are they going to do if my father gets food poisoning?
The customer service here was HORRENDOUS. The worker did not communicate properly with the customers and we could barely hearbwhat the worker was saying. All the workers were also hiding behind the kitchen and for what reason i am not sure but they have to change this habit. I hope they can think about what they have done and change. This type of behaviour is...
Read moreNot sure what was the rave about with this Korean restaurant. The first impression was extremely bad for me. Walked into the restaurant, queued to be served and when it was my turn, before I could speak, the Korean lady at the counter started talking to me and say that they are fully booked and any take aways will need more than 40 minutes. I opened my mouth wanting to speak and wanting to point to the booking sheet that she was holding on to, my friend booked us a table but was stopped by her rudely before any words came out of my mouth. She said she knows what I'm asking for and outright rejected me and again explaining that any take away will need 40 minutes.
Another lady at the cashier tried telling her that I'm not the lady who wanted to pack take aways but the Korean lady's ego did not back down. And shut the lady by saying I know what I'm saying. Then I decided to shut my mouth and let her talk and when she's done I had to asked for her permission if I can speak. Then she nodded. I then pointed out to her piece of booking sheet that my friend booked a table for 8 pax and this is his name here written on the first row. The Korean lady then realised she has mistaken but did not apologize. I told her to her face that she was rude and disrespectful for not letting me speak or letting her know that I came for the table we booked. I told her boldly that she didn't even consider giving me a chance to speak and shutting me out by saying she knows what's I want. If it wasn't for a dinner with my 7 other friends. I would have walked out.
The dinner was so so, nothing to rave about the signature hot stone pot pork ribs, all other dishes are just ordinary. Can get better ones elsewhere. Additionally, the tea that was served was diluted too much with hot water making it tasteless. The options (just 3 types) for sides were limited though unlimited refills were given. Can get better in cheaper and much more friendly restaurant.
From the moment the Korean lady treated me disrespect, I've lost my appetite.
Definitely not recommending the food or coming back...
