A dissatisfied lunch I have ever had Saturday 24/06/2023 Around 1 pm
To be honest their service isn’t that bad most of the time but since today is weekend so they were quite busy so they have to be quick and impetuous I still can accept.
However, today’s circumstance was the worst dining experience in my life.
Firstly, I know that the situation this noon was very busy hence there was a delay on food serving. I was sitting near the doorway and beside the kitchen.
What I saw was there was a lot of food accumulating on the serving lines and weren’t sending by any waiter. I only saw a waiter and a waitress kept running to send the food but it was too much for both of them to send.
Nevertheless, there was two girls standing in front of me, where the ordering desktop place. The food is only beside of them and I believe they have seen it but none of them two is trying to deliver them. They just kept talking and left the food there until the other waitress send it. Even my French fries wasn't't crunchy anymore.
One of them was wearing a blouse shirt and one with uniform. I’m not sure whether the one not wearing uniform is manager or supervisor.
I’m not satisfied with their attitude, I kept thinking of why they have seen the food but wasn’t sending it to customers instead they were talking?
Secondly, I also came on weekdays. I really can’t accept the girl cashier who is wearing glasses. She is definitely rude. I still remember my mother was asking about how to fill out the ticket to participate the lucky draw of Eason’s concert.
We asked her about the details and she just using a bad attitude to respond us. I don’t know what have happened in her life, why couldn’t her just answer us slowly and peacefully? Mutual respect is the key to communicate.
I really hope Nanyang cafe can take these reviews genuinely...
Read moreAlthough there were many staffs working, the service was poor. My family and I entered the restaurant and were not informed that their QR order system was down that day. We asked a staff to help us place our order. Later, we noticed other tables had order slips, so we asked another staff to confirm our order. Only then did we discover that our order had not been entered into the system at all, and we had been sitting there waiting for nothing for more than 15 minutes. The food was finally served after 30 minutes, meaning we had waited for almost 45 minutes, while others who arrived after us had already finished their meals. We complained to the cashier, who then informed us that the QR order system was down, which is why orders were being taken manually. The staff should be educated to ensure that when they take orders manually, they confirm the orders have been entered into the system and provide the customer with an order slip. To make matters worse, after we had "ordered," a staff member even came to our table and asked to take the menu away since we had supposedly...
Read moreThe staff at the entrance was getting the crowd to queue outside although there were empty tables at the outer dining area. Reason giving was due to instruction received from management to only allow crowd to enter by batch. At the same time, we saw some ppl that did'nt bother to queue and just occupied those empty tables shamelessly. When we complained to the staff at entrance, she told that it was allowed by her colleague outside. She couldn't do anything. The point was..... Was this a strategy to show public how good business the restaurant was and tried to attract more customers? Why need to go in by batch?! This was not logic at all especially for those with elderly folk that need to stand long time outside. If wanna implement this type of 'batch' system, should standardize across the whole restaurant operation. Not having double standards. It was such a bad experience. A lot of crowd decided to change to the restaurant that starts with 'O' instead. Although long queue, at least ppl get...
