Stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights.
Summary : Despite lacking many amenities coming from a Hyatt Brand Hotel (ie : no in room dining, limited breakfast buffet selection, no free parking with poor valet service, questionable staff), the hotel has the gall to call you to check out just 3 minutes after check out time as if we are 30 minutes past the check out time. Pricey hotel could do with some serious improvements especially being friendlier/helpful to families and pregnant women.
The Staff -Agree that some staff are friendly and professional. However, there was an incident where my other family members who came a day after, requested to be on the same floor. Without even confirming with me, she confidently said that I was on the 6th floor but I was not; Despite I was sitting nearby the counter and she chose not to confirm it with me. -Also, I understood that the check out time is at 12pm. I was about to leave the room at 12.03pm (we had a lot of stuff to carry and I am pregnant), they decided to call the room and told us that we are past our check out time in which I felt was uncalled for as I've stayed in Mandarin Oriental, EQ and other 5 star hotels, never once made me feel like I was being evicted. And we purposely chose the Hyatt Place to celebrate our birthday stay cation there with the family.
Amenities -There is NO in-room dining. For a 4 star Hyatt place, I was surprised that there was no in-room dining. Luckily, there is an Italian (independent) restaurant at the roof top called Valentina and I sincerely and strongly suggest the guests to go there for an amazing, Italian cuisine experience. -The breakfast buffet : located at the 1st floor. The food was so-so with limited selection as again, coming from a Hyatt brand. During my stay, there was only a selection of Nasi Lemak, Noodle Soup with clear broth, Fried Noodle/Rice with chicken sausage, egg station, bread, salad/fruits and 2 choices of cereal. Also, the cutlery was not prepared on the table as you have to go and take them to your own table, placed beside the salad station. -Valet parking : There is NO free parking for the hotel guest ad cost rm20/day. The person in charge of the Valet parking is some what (?) blur and not attentive. I had to call him 2-3 times for them to acknowledge me (despite making eye contact with me and I was the only person there) to take my car from the basement parking and was not being helpful (and I didn't even move my car once after checking in).
3)Room -We chose the room with Balcony. For the room, it was great but no bath-tub. The balcony is a non smoking...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of staying at the Hyatt Place Bukit Jalil in Kuala Lumpur and I am delighted to share my experience.
Firstly, the location of the hotel is fantastic. Situated in the vibrant area of Bukit Jalil, it offers easy access to major attractions, shopping centers, and transportation links. Whether you're a business traveler or a tourist exploring the city, this hotel's location is ideal.
Upon arrival, I was warmly greeted by the friendly and professional staff. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, ensuring that I felt welcomed from the moment I stepped through the door.
The room itself is modern, and impeccably clean. The design was simple with a touch of elegance. The bed was incredibly comfortable with high-quality linens that guaranteed a restful night's sleep.
However, I would like to highlight on 2 issues for improvement.
Firstly, I was disappointed with the compulsory valet parking policy. For guests who prefer self-parking or wish to avoid additional costs, this policy felt restrictive and inconvenient. It would be beneficial if the hotel could consider offering alternative parking options to accommodate different guest preferences. There is no clear notes on compulsory valet parking when I booked the room, and no proper communication on safety issue and responsibility upon any accident.
The worst thing is, after I checked out to collect my car, there is no one at valet parking counter, stuck there for 1.5 hours. I think this is too unbearable, as I am rushing for meeting.
Secondly, I encountered issues with unstable water temperature during my shower. The fluctuating temperature made it difficult to enjoy a comfortable and relaxing shower experience. This inconsistency can significantly impact the overall guest satisfaction and should be promptly addressed by the maintenance team.
In conclusion, I appreciate the positive aspects of my stay at Hyatt Place Bukit Jalil, but it is essential for the management team to address these concerns about compulsory valet parking and unstable water temperature during showers. By taking action to improve upon these issues, the hotel can enhance guests' overall experience and ensure their satisfaction.
Overall, my stay is considered as...

After 10 hours flights + transit I was feeling exhausted and hungry , when I got my room and took a shower, I visit to the a la cart restaurant and try to get some food , I’ve already check the restaurant closing time and last call by asking the receptionist, it is 21:30pm will be the last order, however, when I visit to the restaurant is 20:50pm , and I heard the Malay cook/chef start complaining and talking about me , the conversation as per below:
Chef A: aduh…. Chef B: hahahah….Sabar lah munkin dia datang jauh kan, kesian juga kan. Chef A:bro , tolong kasih Tahu apa dia order, (he was talk to the waiter) Chef B :munkin order air jer kut Chef A:dia tengok tengok nanti order susah susah.
I was looking them , while think they will stop, but they think I don’t understand what they talking , and continue the conversation as per below:
Chef A: apa tengok tengok
And I make order with the waiter , as per the picture showing.
Chef A / B: aduh mampui la dia order Yang paling susah .
While they cooking my order , I saw one of the chef using wok to stir fried my French fries , may I know is wok stir fried French fries is one of Hyatt brand signature dish ? Can see the black dust from wok is stick on the fries and it is soggy and the chicken wrap is loosely wrapped, worst than the convenient store microwave food.
How ever the bartender is observed my remains food on table while I leave and make the payment, he asking about the food , and I told him the fries is soggy and he try to offer my a complimentary drinks for the apologies, however I’m full and I don’t trust your chef which is not happy to cook for me .
However the room is clean and nice , the bartender is nice , and the cocktails is nice , only your chefs may need to attend some basic hospitality training or offer some other job for them is not passion in cook and serve.
And lastly,...
