• Ayam bawang • Boiled okra • Salted Egg • 1 x Papadam RM11
Had my usual, the price seems a bit high. not sure why. Usually around rm8.50 only.
is Papadam price around RM2.5/bag? To be honesty, that seem a bit steep for something with a small portion.
Overall, the kuah campur banjir is still good.had extra banjir this time and it was amazing!
[24/09/2022] • Ayam Goreng + Kuah Ayam Bawang • Boiled okra • Salted Egg RM9.00
The fried chicken is good. Comparable to their Ayam Bawang. Love it! Chose it since Ayam Bawang already sold out. But, I was not disappointed.
Their fried chicken still good. Comparable to their famous ayam bawang. Don’t miss this out. Give it a chance.
[25/06/2022] Purchased my usual~ • Ayam bawang • Boiled okra • Boiled/fresh pepper RM8.50
Price slightly higher I think. But, considering current climate of chicken's price. I think it is still within tolerable range.
Still love their 'kuah' 😋 Good for cheat day.
Sedap sehingga menjilat jari, dan pinggan. 😂
[14/05/2022] Tried new things. This time, rose chicken and it was scrumptious!
Curry Squid egg was ok-ok. But, the spice did packed a punch. A little bit expensive for this order
Not sure why. But, for take away and it was tastier than 13 may's dine in. Even when I ate it few hours after bought it.
• Ayam ros • Stir fried cabbage • Salted egg • Curry squid egg RM19.50

[13/05/2022] Tried same menu for dine in lunch. Still good like previous visits.
Just, the gravy a little bit runny. Not sure if it was just my buds or something else. But, chicken and the taste of their mixed gravy is still good in term of aroma, spices, etc
Would try again in the future.
• Ayam bawang • Stir fried cabbage • Boiled egg • Boiled okra RM11
[02/04/2022] Tried similar menu like 18 March, just this time tried take away before Ramadhan.
Its still amazing. The flavor is consistent from previous visit. • Strong kuah/sauces • Tender chicken
Plus, apparently there are some kind of gimmick in presentation where staff responsible to for rice/dishes would occasionally scream "Tudiiiaaa!" when pouring kuah on top of the rice. Unfortunately, missed my chance to record it when it happened
and he put the kuah in visually appealing way like video below I'd uploaded. Depending on people, some probably love it, some probably don't. I personally does not care much about gimmick show like that. Come again solely because of taste I had on first visit.
Would probably come again to try different menu than Ayam bawang next time. Ouh yeah, the price also quite affordable/cheap (RM10.50 for this visit) • Ayam bawang • Stir fried cabbage • Salted egg • Boiled okra
[18/3/2022] Come to eat (dine in) lunch before Friday prayer. Tried simple menu only: • Ayam bawang • Stir fried cabbage • Boiled egg • Salted egg • Boiled okra • Only...

Recently, I visited this local eatery that had come highly recommended, but my experience left me feeling quite ambivalent.
First off, the staffing situation was a bit of an issue. There was only one "jockey" which created a rather frustrating wait for customers. I understand that smaller establishments might sometimes operate with limited staff, but a bit more help during peak hours would certainly improve the flow and overall experience.
On top of that, the repetitive 'tudiaaa tudiaaa' dialogue from the "jockey" became a tad annoying. While I appreciate the effort to engage with customers and create an atmosphere, the delivery felt a bit forced and detracted from the genuine hospitality that I was hoping for.
Now, onto the food. I would describe it as average at best. The star of the menu was supposed to be the Ayam Bawang, but I found it tasted slightly different than I expected. It’s hard to pinpoint exactly what it was, but it lacked the familiar flavor profile that I usually enjoy. That said, the others at my table seemed to enjoy their meals, indicating that perhaps it was just a minor hiccup in preparation that day.
As for the pricing, it was reasonable. I’d say it matches the quality of the food well, so no complaints there.
Ultimately, while there were some bright spots, the overall experience was less than stellar. With improvements to the service and perhaps a tweak to the recipe of their beloved dishes, this place could certainly elevate itself to a hotter spot in the neighborhood. For now, I might be inclined to look elsewhere for a more satisfying...
Read moreI just ate at this nasi kandar place and it was a complete rip-off. I only took a small portion of white rice, one piece of fish roe, and some fried cucumber — that’s it. Despite this, the guy serving kept pestering me, asking if I wanted this or that, and I repeatedly said no. Then he charged me RM20, without any breakdown or explanation of the pricing.
When I asked why it was so expensive, he sarcastically replied, “It’s 20, not 200.” Seriously?
I truly believe I was overcharged because I’m Chinese. Right after me, a Malay customer came in and took a mountain of food — eggs, fried chicken, vegetables, everything — and only paid around RM10+
I had seen other reviews mentioning how overpriced this place is, but I didn’t believe them until now. I thought if I took just a little, it would be fine. Nope. Still ridiculously overpriced.
The food wasn’t even good. The fish roe was overcooked and harder than chicken breast, the curry lacked flavor, and although I said I was eating there, they packed it for takeaway anyway. By the time I ate it, the curry had dried up and stuck to the rice, and everything was cold and stiff. Every single bite was cold and tough.
When I said I didn’t want a drink, they acted so shocked and kept pushing me to order one. I was genuinely afraid they’d charge me RM10 just for a glass of plain water.
This place needs to be called out — not just for its overpriced food, but for its racist double standards. Avoid it...
