Food is really good and it comes in really huge portion. I’ve chosen this restaurant for my wedding dinner because the food was really promising. Although there is a few highlight that could have been better since wedding is everyone’s anticipated celebration. I mean it was my once in a lifetime big day as well - the air con were too cold and guest started leaving at 10pm cause they couldn’t take the coldness even tho they had raised this to the staff - service was very underwhelming. They had too many really young staff (they look like high school kids no offence) and they lack the training that was required. One of the guest highlighted that the staff served the soup and his/her entire hand went into the soup cause it slipped. And another complained that they made a mess on the guest table while serving dessert soup all over the table spinner. It was unpleasant and disturbing to watch - the young staff just barged into the dance area when performances were happening and kinda looked like they lack common sense as they kinda just wanna serve the dish and be done with the job. The dancers almost crashed into people and deco just to avoid the staff from walking thru. Very disappointing as I myself as the bride was trying to immerse into the performance prepared for me - manager promised that activities could go on till about 10.50-11pm but lights were all turned on shortly before 10.30pm which kinda killed the party cause guest thought it was time for them to leave - we gave them a set of songs to be played during the open dance floor session and they ended up playing their own (full of old school k-pop playlist) before the promised “10.50-11pm” - another very SUS and unprofessional event that occur was when we were all seated and eating at the VIP table, the manager approached us and mentioned that one guest from one table insisted to have vegetarian set (which obviously would have add on charges) only to find out the guest said the staff approached them and ask if anyone from the table wants vegetarian set. Very sus like did you guys cooked extra and just wanted to sell it to cover up? - before the event, we went for food testing earlier in January 2023 and the manager-at-that-time served us menu of 2022 but somewhere along the line around July 2023 they swapped manager and decided to change their menu to their current one which has diff ingredients (clearly cheaper ingredients) and demanded to charge extra for each table if we wish to remain to the 2022 menu. Then what was the point of having the food testing if y’all gon change menu without asking us. We inserted proof and screenshot and after a long discussion they decided to stick back to what was promised in the beginning. Very unpleasant experience Can only hope they improve and QA for incoming newlyweds who decided to choose this place as their wedding celebration. Cheers

Though the food were nice, unfortunately our event was spoilt by the poor service. Firstly, the person serving us in the room was only in the room the first half of our dinner. After that, he was no where to be seen. We had to serve our own tea, and change our own plates, with the dirty plates beside us. Dishes were supposed to be served individually was only done for the first 3 dishes, after that the food was just left in the table for us to serve ourselves. Secondly, we order the iberico ribs which did appear. When asked, we were told the kitchen have not prepared it, and we were served another iberico pork dish instead. They just serve the dish without consulting or advising us earlier. We had to pay for the dish we did not order as they said they have prepared it. Thirdly we also ordered roast pork which also did not come. When queried, was told the person taking our orders the week before did not inform the kitchen. In all the conversations, the staff was rather rude and not apologetic. We had to eventually escalate the matter to the manager who said he can only give us a simple complimentary dessert. The excuse he gave was they were short staff & many of them were new. Would definitely not recommend this place unless they improve their service. There are many other good restaurants with good if not better food and much much better service.

COMPLETE DISREGARD FOR ANIMAL WELFARE! I am appalled by the horrifying lack of compassion and respect for life displayed at Grand Harbour Restaurant & Banquet. Their treatment of fish is nothing short of outrageous and inhumane. BEWARE of the atrocities you'll witness if you dare to step foot into this restaurant. At the shop front, I was immediately greeted by the sight of an aquarium display, presumably showcasing their "fresh" seafood. However, what I witnessed was a true nightmare. Fish, crammed together in a tiny space, gasping for oxygen and struggling to swim freely. It was a tragic scene of pure neglect and cruelty. I couldn't fathom how a supposedly reputable restaurant could so callously disregard the basic principles of animal welfare. It is a sad reminder that some individuals see fish only as a source of food, completely disregarding their right to a dignified existence. If these heart-wrenching images don't haunt your conscience, I don't know what will. How can anyone expect to enjoy a meal while witnessing such abhorrent treatment of living beings? It's utterly disgusting! Grand Harbour Restaurant & Banquet should be ashamed of themselves for their treatment of fish and their complete disregard for the value of life.

Our family love all the foods & staffs service especially, MICO, JANE, JOSEPHINE &荣 in the restaurant except the short Chinese female captain with spec, she really need to big improvement on her rude service, never greet customers, always show black face no smile. This captain got a very bad habits always said FULLY BOOKED then not accept customers to wait straight away rejected. She will not like others restaurant will take down contact number, ask customers go shopping 1st once the table is available will call customers come back. After we knew few managers and captains in the restaurant, they allowed us to wait for next available table at waiting area so every weekend we managed to dine in already. Usually at 8pm+ no customers already, all left got a lot of empty tables due to that entrance female captain rejected all walk-in customers so she can go home on time early no need stay late & still can take full salary on time. Those lazy rude service staffs not bother on sales because company make losses not the staffs. That's why the restaurant's captains always very sad mentioned that restaurant's walk-in customers sales dropping cannot hit the monthly sales target. How to hit sales target if no team work? If no event, hope the event hall male & female captains can come out not hide inside can assist the restaurant's staffs during peak hours. Hope top management can seriously look into this matter not just take one time, 6pm...
