Located at this Oriental Kopi @ Pavilion Damansara Heights Restaurant I am a regular customer this Restaurant because the food in Oriental Kopi Restaurant is very delicious, especially the freshly baked egg tarts 👍🏻 which makes me want to eat again, the environment is also good and the other waiters are also great, service is also great and welcoming 👍🏻😊 But this Morning, when I was about to leave and queue up to pay after finishing my meal, I heard the so-called "Assistant Supervisor" Name is SYAZWANI female cashier ask the Malay customer checking out in front of me if he had a membership. She was also very enthusiastic and chatted with him with a smile on her face 👀👁️👁️🤝 When it was my turn to pay, he saw that I had a sour face, as if I owed him millions, and he deliberately didn't ask me if I had a membership in their store. This made me very surprised and disappointed.👀😱😲😡👎🏻 When I asked her why she didn't ask me if I had a membership before I paid, she replied that because I was Chinese, She doesn't want to talk nonsense with you because I'm not of the same race as him,Wouldn't ask or care about me😓😒😩😫 She also told me to pay quickly and leave immediately, and asked me if I also worked in this shopping mall? This kind of racial discrimination is really unacceptable. Does your company hire such employees just to drive away customers one by one so that your restaurant can close down as soon as possible? 😰🥴😡 With such discriminatory and rude staff, your restaurant still charges me a 10% service fee? Is this fair? 😭😰😒 I highly don't recommend this restaurant in Oriental Kopi @ Pavilion Damansara Heights 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 👀 Their Waiters in Mid Valley are better. At least they don't look down on people,At least they don't discriminate against customers.👍🏻 I strongly do not recommend this restaurant because the employee who calls herself "Assistant Supervisor" will racially discriminate against you, no matter how much you spend 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 She will try to drive you away, especially Chinese and Indian guests, she is very unwelcome 👀👁️👁️🤝

I've always wanted to try Oriental Kopi, but the long queues have kept me away. I decided to try my luck at the Pavilion Damansara Heights branch. If you're coming via MRT, it's conveniently located next to the MRT Pusat Bandar Damansara station. I arrived around 11 AM and found plenty of free seats. Feedback: 1. Halal Certification and Popularity The display of the halal certificate is very prominent, which is great. Even before obtaining the halal certification, the queues were already long. Now, with the halal status, the queue seems to have grown even more. I recommend coming before 11 AM to avoid the rush. 2. Pricing and Quality The food is on the expensive side, but this is expected given the premium quality and ambiance of the shop. For reference, I spent over RM40 for a meal of nasi lemak with chicken legs, egg tarts, and kopi o butter. 3. Service Improvements While there were many staff members present, none were particularly friendly or welcoming. I suggest they greet customers with "Selamat Datang" to reflect true Malaysian hospitality. 4. Staff Diversity The staff lacked diversity. I didn’t see any Malay employees or Malay ladies in hijab. Including more Malay staff, especially friendly and talkative individuals, could help create a more inclusive and welcoming environment. 5. Music Selection The music was limited to "Rasa Sayang" and Chinese New Year songs. It would be nice to hear a mix of Malaysian heritage songs, not necessarily just Malay music, to better represent the nation's diversity. 6. Facilities for Customers There is a lack of power outlets for charging devices. Currently, they are only available in the family seating area. Adding charging ports to smaller tables for solo diners or couples could attract digital nomads or individuals who might order drinks or desserts while working. Additional Tip: The WiFi is fast, you can ask the password from the workers. Overall, the food quality and ambiance are good, but there is room for improvement in customer service, inclusivity, and facilities.

The only outlet that doesn’t have a long queue on a weeknight ❤️ The quality of the food here is not mere hype, it justifies the queue at every outlet ❤️ And the efficiency of the service is impeccable despite the perpetual large crowd ❤️ Teh c ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️- Perfect intensity and temperature. Smooth texture without bitter aftertaste. RM7.90 Polo bun - this is the best polo bun ever ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️, the top eggy crust is perfectly crumbly but not dry, and the insides is warm and soft and dense (not airy nothingness); and it comes with a generous portion of butter on the side. They also gave a bit of condensed milk, but I didn’t use it as I think it would be a bit of an overkill RM4.90 Butter kaya toast - overly toasted that it has become a biscuit inside out, generous portion of butter, fragrant and tasty kaya RM9.90 Cendol - very few places actually use gula Melaka, and this place is very generous with it ❤️❤️❤️❤️ although the cendol lacks the pandan fragrance Bun with crunchy peanuts - fresh bun with aromatic fresh peanuts ❤️❤️❤️❤️ Large milk tea - I wasn’t expecting “large” to be a 6 inch tall glass mug, but it’s really gao but smooth without bitter aftertaste ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ still the best, my favourite RM10.90 Tang yuan in black glutinous rice - tang yuan is smooth and nice, but the rice/santan had a tap water taste 🫤 RM11.90 taro polo bun - this was mediocre; Nanyang cafe’s version is much better and at half the price 💙

I have been eager to try their food and drinks but always with long queues. purposely travel all the way to pv Damansara outlet as noted this outlet has less footfall . arrive 3pm + with shorter Q time. The waiter seated us near the kitchen area at the front, despite there being at least 3 vacant tables. I hinted to suggest a table for 4 even though there were only 2 of us, as I knew the smaller tables might not accommodate all the dishes we planned to order. However, the waiter still direct us at a table for two. we just ordered one main dish , 2x tart , 2 drink , no feel like wanted to order more with pressure with the table size . After order the food , i head to washroom . Upon returning , egg tart , drinks already served but the menu still on table . ...... i just ask the staff to take the menu when the main dish served . well , all food served and the table was cramped like what i expected and even no space to put the cutlery box . I felt pressured to eat carefully to avoid anything drop . How the food taste ? To be honest, everything was standard, and I don't think it's compelling or worth queuing for. mihun siam - as per standard . only the egg make it feel special . drink cham - similar to their sachet box drink which i bought and i felt even more dilute egg tart -not allowed to mix the type unless we order for 6 pcs. otherwise , we must order either 02 pcs original , 02 pcs special edition . how you judge ? firstly , it limit people chance to try different flavour especially for those dine as solo. out of sudden , i was splashed with water . it seems from the kitchen counter behind me . the waiter just look at me and said sorry . that is all . they did not quickly offer a tissue or any further assistance I understand that my feedback may not be popular especially even tourist also purposely wanted to Q for their food but feel compelled to share...
