Very disappointed with the food and service. I ordered the roasted boneless duck wrap, but they sent me the normal roasted irish duck with bone. I told them I specifically wanted the boness irish duck with wrap, so they took what they served me back, and they just replated the duck on a different dish. They didn't even bother to de-bone the duck. There were bones in every piece of duck I ate, which defeats the purpose of me ordering the boneless irish duck with wrap. It's very unpleasent having to spit out the bones for every bloody wrap I was eating. I complained to them about this but it fell on deaf ears. They least they could do was to apologise for making the mistake.

Anyway, the food is over rated. If you want a good roast duck, just head to Village Roast Duck. The duck there is juicier and sweeter vs Traveling Duck. I also ordered the sauteed chic paste kailand and braised home made seaweed beancurd. The taste was very blend (could have used my seasoning and spices).

I definitely won't be coming back to this establishment and would not recommend this place to anyone looking for...

Madam L and Jannie Lok came and fetched me out for lunch. The two ladies took me to The Travelling Duck located at Pavilion Damansara Height. We had a quarter of their roasted duck that was very delicious, very meaty too. I had the duck leg, nice. Then the sweet and sour chicken was so lovely to eat, perfect sweetness and sourish. The chicken was fried perfectly, crunch and well coated with the sauce, I just went on helping myself with a few of them, so good. The pepper and salt squid tentacles was so lovely to indulge, crispy and soft in texture. So nice to eat. The ladies had their Szechuan soup. A plate of poarched choy sum was ordered, nice. The last was their fried mungbean noodles with rice vermicelli over crystal prawns that taste truly good. We truly enjoyed the food here. The outlet here is pork free. ❤️❤️❤️

Mixed feelings about this place. Came for the duck but was sorely dissapointed. Wrong duck ordered or teething problems?

Whilst moist, the roasted Irish duck was devoid of flavors, and the accompaniments provided were meager. One would expect sufficient condiments and wraps to come with the duck served.

While the non-duck dishes we ordered were good, the crab fried with egg suffered the same issue with not enough cabbage being provided to wrap the dish.

Service was an issue as well, certain items we ordered 2 of and only 1 was served. While a single item ordered, they served 2 of.

Servers squeezed between us to serve dishes while there was plenty of space around the table to place the dishes.

A hapless diner opposite us had duck sauce accidentally dropped on her...

I recently dined at The Travelling Duck at Pavilion Damansara, and it was a delightful experience. The food was simply fantastic, with their signature roasted duck being the highlight of the meal. The duck was perfectly cooked—crispy on the outside, tender and juicy on the inside, and packed with flavor. Each bite was incredibly satisfying. The ambience of the restaurant is great! Comfortable + less people compared to other outlet, I would prefer here since you get quieter experience. Their staff were friendly, attentive and they really doing great job. Can see that they really well trained their staff on serving food and also the service customer part, they even help us to change our plate after few dishes. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
