Enjoyed a delicious well rounded lunch meal at D Empire Pavilion Damansara Heights. It was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The four of us shared a generous spread - Bruschetta Tomatoes, Cauliflower Soup, Smoke Salmon Salad, Sweet Potato Fries, Australian Braised Lamb Shank, Roast Chicken, Lasagna and Pappardella Truffle. Every dish was beautifully presented and full of flavours. The Lamb Shank was specially tender and well seasoned. The Roast Chicken was juicy and the sweet potato fries added a lovely touch of sweetness. The lasagna has that perfect balance of richness and comfort. The pappardelle had the right al dente texture with a rich mouthwatering truffle creamy sauce. The Bruschetta and Cauliflower Soup both fresh and satisfying complemented well with the main dishes. Service was attentive without being overbearing. The ambience was relaxed, ideal for any occasion, and the staff were attentive and warm throughout. Question1) Is this the taste for set menus? 2) Are the beverages always below average to be served for set lunch menus? 3) The soups are served watery only for the set menus or it tasted different even When the price are the same. 4) when soups are served, breads are not included? Strange, I’ve travelled far and wide, soups always comes with breads and never cut into 3 little pieces from A Bun!
Kindly make sure when meals are served, it should be worth mentioning the Chef! This particular Chef on duty on 31/10/2023 failed miserably.
