Decided to give it a try after seeing the great reviews for this place. But, the food here is a bit of a hit and miss. And they're on the pricier side too. The service is fast and friendly. The restaurant is clean. Can get loud when they have a big group inside. Parking is not an issue. But the area here feels a bit dodgy, thought we were in the wrong place when we drove here.
Ordered a starter of Miang Kham. Usually the ingredients are all separated for you to assemble. Here they prepared it nicely in a small cup, which is nice. And it tasted fresh and crunchy. The green curry was creamy and tasted nice too. Maybe on the sweeter side, and not fragrant enough. The omelette was very big. Tasted good. Just didn't like how they served it with the fork and knife ON the food. What. The biggest let down is the deep fried squid. I was expecting squid rings, in crunchier batter. But here, they deep fry big chunks of chewy squid, and it is so so bland. Have to eat with chili sauce, otherwise it's like chewing sauceless rice cakes.
Overall, more room for improvement on the taste of the food, given that the price is not cheap. But there are some good options and the...
Read moreI came here again after a while of not visiting. The taste of the food was okay, but it used to be way better back then. However, I really think that they need to work on customer experience. Understand that it was during peak hours (dinner), but they kinda understaffed for a small restaurant. The workers are pretty much occupied at the cashier/kitchen area, and they don't pay enough attention to customers who are seated near the door or outside. It was quite a battle for me and a few other customers raising our hands to get their attention in taking orders. I have to raise my hand and call them 3 times just to get a plate of white rice, and I never even get my cili potong at all after requesting from the worker.
Maybe if the staff couldn't manage in paying attention to customers coming in/out to take orders, delivering food, clearing tables for new customers etc, I would suggest for them to place a call button placed at the table to call for assistance like at some restaurants or even use a QR code to scan and order food ourselves, or to have more workers managing...

There weren’t many customers when I visited. The staff were okay, and service was fast, which I appreciated. However, the food quality was mediocre.
The pandan chicken tasted like it had been reheated from frozen. It was edible, but didn’t taste fresh. I’ve had much better pandan chicken at Wan Thai in Langkawi. The seafood tom yum was surprisingly sweet, and the prawns were mushy and lacked freshness, again, likely frozen.
The papaya salad was decent, but not spicy enough and lacked the authentic Thai flavour I was expecting.
In the end, we didn’t finish the food. I'm not sure why this restaurant is rated so highly. Maybe others will have a different experience. Perhaps I caught them on a bad day. Try it for yourself and see. Maybe...
