On the 3rd Sept 2022. Had the worst possible experience with one of the staff with Philippines ascent. As I was making payment, I knew it was to be a cashless payment so I prepared to pay by touch and get ready to scan. This particular staff pushed the credit card (or payment unit) to me and said in a very unprofessional and non friendly tone. "Card! Card! Card!" That was the only words he said without giving further instructions. What "Card!" was he was trying to say. I was taken back what he meant by card? They only use credit card? debit card? WHAT CARD???? Again he said again in a very unfriendly tone "Card! Card! Card!". Really.... I got annoyed and refused to be treated with such bad manners and raised my voice asking what Card was he referring to and confronted him that his tone and his behavior was not acceptable. He replied rudely with "That's what you think".

I don't think this person should be at the counter facing the customers. In fact, with his attitude he shouldn't be in any service industries. I hope the management can contact me as I can elaborate more. I am still VERY VERY angry to be treated with such bad service and attitude. To add, this was NOT the first time I had such a bad experience with this staff. Previous visits I had chosen to ignore thinking that maybe he had a bad day. But on the 3rd Sept 2022, i have decided he is just not suitable to be facing any customers with his attitude.

I enjoy the food there and the Portuguese Tarts. In many occasions I have recommended many of my friends and relatives to patronize the cafe. It is a shame that such good work is being tarnish by a single bad apple in...

I & my frez was sitting table for 2 at 1st, but the air conditioner is direct blowing toward my friend, after we had our Eggs Tart then we move to another table which is 4 seated table, but is 4 seated table can fit 4 persons? if I'm not wrong, 4 seated table only allow 2 ppls right? Your RUDE staff come over and ordered us back to our previous table which not allow us to change table.. Coz he claimed its table for 4, beside this.. the cafe is quite empty.. Hence I asked him is it sure that the table allow for 4 person? He said YESSS! n I asked.. hence v r not allow to switch table? again.. He Said YeSSS! Else seat another small table. Coz his face reaction is totally like "Lack of whack", hence i asked him izzit very unhappy? He said yess n stood there look at me.. By right I'm plan to have dinner at ur place as my frez recommend ur Pork Chop is nice, n coz of him.. v decided to changed place.

Quite popular during peak period but service is prompt and friendly. Classic pork chop is a comfort meal. Had it several times and taste wise it is consistent. Pork chop served with potato wedges and peas akin to hainanese style. Generous serving too. Cajun prawn pork burger is loaded with ingredients - prawns, homemade pork patty and bacon is sandwiched between cheese, tomato, lettuce and toasted bun. Served with salad and fries. Angel hair in broth is their take on ramen. Ramen is served with an egg and pork slices in pork broth.

Never leave this place without getting the egg tarts. They are divine. Buttery and flaky crust with wobbly egg custard. One is never enough.
