Lunch food is relatively good. One side of the coffee shop sells economy rice which can be quite expensive and the other side sells noodle dishes such as curry mee, pan mee, fried kuey teow, chee cheong fun, and also tong sui desserts.
Dinner food is just okay. Economy rice and noodle stalls are closed at night. The standards of their dai chow (order rice with dishes like fish, chicken, pork, or vege) or sai chow (fried noodles or rice) can be quite inconsistent. On some days they are really good and on some days quite disappointing.
The coffee shop is small and therefore not many seats available. During lunch time, don't be shy to share tables or you may not get to sit. Lunch crowd mainly consists of contractors, taxi drivers, local residents, and some times office workers.
