They only sell limited number of dishes every day, especially the fish dish. Not a lot of dish choices here as every type of dish has about 1-2 styles of cooking only. Reservations is usually needed in order to reserve the some dishes and seatings since there are limited seats and wait times will be slightly longer when full house.

About the food Steamed fish: 1 of the signature dish. Perfectly cooked and seasoned, and has always been consistent. Each fish is roughly the same weight, so sharing is a definite. Must try 😋 Steamed chicken: it is tender and delicious. The chicken does not have any fat that some restaurants normally serve. However, do take note that they do serve the chicken backside as well for a whole chicken. Vegetables: nicely cooked though also not much variety, but at least also consistent Steamed egg: this dish is very soft, delicious and very consistent. Must order 👍

this restaurant is actually at the basement of a building, you will not able to see it just by passing by. you will have to get out of the car and search for it if you are going there for the first time. the foods here are fish and fish alone with some choice of vegi. of course you can top up with some eat but the cooking style here is only steam. the fish that we had was fresh but the flavor was more on the salty side. you might want to ask the boss to tone down a little on the salt if you cannot handle the blood pressure. nonetheless, the taste is ok but not something to die for. this is a restaurant to go if you are into white meats and not red meats. it is not air-conditioned, but it is quite windy nonetheless, so even during warm weather, it is still quite comfortable to have...

A place you have to try your luck if you go after 1pm. Food might sold out after that hour. There is a small sign of '蒸鱼头（Steam fish head)' outside old house, and you have to find parking along the road side. After the sign, just walk down the side ramp and you will come to the basement that is where the restaurant is. The Steam Fish Head which I personally think taste better than the one in Chan Sow Lin. The Steam Chicken with yellow skin and tougher meat that looks like Corn Fed Chicken, will be better if they put less of the soya sauce, cause the saltiness had overcome the sweetness of the chicken.
