Zero star in fact ! Bad food, unreasonable price, bad hygiene, food salty fully with MSG, rude rude boss.
I’m writing this review for the reasons below:
First of all, the price is exorbitant although quality have dropped tremendously. We added siham for RM5. But the portion (if included the portion originally with the mee) was extremely less. A stupid boss daughter said the standard portion is 四粒siham, whereas RM5 you get 加十粒.
After we complained to the cashier (boss daughter), Mr Mok was triggered and he came over confronting us, saying that sihams are now more expensive than prawns everywhere (which I don’t believe so he is making things up) 1kg is rm30 or something. He also abrasively poured back all the siham into my bowl of noodles, saying “当我请你吃咯“ as I was still eating my bowl of mee in front of me, in shock. Did not expect a boss to do such a petty and low move. SO SO RUDE When we 加料, why isn’t the original portion of the chicken included ? Isn’t this unethical for simply overcharging?
Also, we asked for tissue from the workers and they pointed to the counter. As I was walking over to the place and saw the price tag I turned away( as they use to provide free tissue). Later when I was paying I saw they added a rm0.50 charge for a pack of tissue! (See last item in bill)
All in all, this shop is petty in every way just to lure money from the customer.
Check your bill every time before you pay and ask them on the spot in anything noted !

Read moreIt's been a long time since I'm back here. Serves Curry Mee, Chicken Rice, Hakka Cha Yuk Mee, Yong Tau Foo, Stir Fry Rice Dishes, etc. Prices are all nett (tax).
Atmosphere: It has air conditioned side and open air side. Quite a lot of space between tables and quite a lot fans around but at afternoon, some spots outside may be a bit hot.
Food: Curry Chicken Noodle 3.25 🌟 Not very spicy, not too creamy has some flavours in it. Noodles both Mee and Hor Fun are thin type. Not a lot of ingredients, just some tao pok (I ordered no cockles) so good thing I upgraded to chicken thigh. Chili sauce is a bit sour and not spicy nor flavourful. Priced at Rm 9 and additional Rm 3 for upgrade.
Food: Hakka Braised Pork/Cha Yuk 3.25🌟 Overall it is quite flavourful but a bit oily. Braised very long as some of the pork skin is very soft. The meat is quite tender but some parts are a bit burnt/rough. The black fungus is too soft (not as crunchy). Priced at Rm 18.
Food: Yong Tau Foo Each piece priced at Rm 2 so they isn't that big piece. -Ladies Finger 3🌟: Comes with soup which is quite flavourful but also feels quite a lot MSG. Not bad, a bit old today Dumpling 3.25🌟: Deep fried. Crunchy and quite flavourful Foo Chok Roll 3.25🌟: Deep Fried. Small but thick with meat unlike usual ones Spring Roll 3.25🌟: Deep Fried. Small but thick with meat with churchy vege in middle Eggplant 3🌟: A bit too soft but it's decent Sauce: Chili 2.5 🌟, Sweet 3🌟 Chili is very watery and not much spiciness. Sweet sauce is ok, standard taste.
Drink: Herbal Drink 3 🌟 Pat Zi Chou/Bei Zi Chao got some herbal flavour and not too sweet....
Read moreGood, long-time, neighborhood place to get food. Their menu has a lot of other dishes too, not just yong taufu. We like all their yong taufu selection so it's a decent place for it. Their curry me and fried rice dishes are good too. There are other things like prawn mee, chicken rice, and also typical Chinese meal dishes that you can order that goes with rice.
They have two shops, seating at the corner shop is outdoors but cooling with decent ventilation and seating next door that is air-conditioned. A funny but useful observation to note is that they do not provide any napkins/tissue paper at all so you have to bring your own, or pay to buy their tissue packets.
We also love to come here in the evenings (after 4-5pm) for the ability to order satay with our food from Suhairi Majid Satay, a stall that is not separate from Fatty Mok but located in front of the restaurant every day except Monday and Wednesday. They have a good working relationship with Fatty Mok Restaurant so you are allowed to order satay to eat at your table at the restaurant. Best satay in town in my opinion! Satay is cash only.
Fatty Mok accepts TnG ewallet payment. Suhairi satay is operated by different people and accepts only cash.
Parking in the area is not too bad especially...
