A Chinese Muslim restaurant located in Cheras, Kuala Lumpur, and it was a delightful experience. The ambiance is casual, with plenty of tables available, making it a comfortable spot for a meal with friends or family.
Food: I ordered the curry mee, and it exceeded my expectations. The broth was incredibly thick and flavorful, perfectly balanced with spices that make every spoonful a treat. I would rate it a solid 5 out of 5. My friend opted for the Chicken Ham Carbonara, and while it was decent, it wasnât as impressive as the curry mee. The sauce was creamy, but it lacked the depth of flavor one might expect from a carbonara dish. I would give it a 3 out of 5.
Service: The staff at Lapo Dapo were very friendly and attentive, enhancing our dining experience. They made sure we were comfortable and our orders were promptly served.
Cleanliness: The restaurant was clean and well-maintained, which is always a positive sign for a dining establishment.
Parking: There is parking available for both cars and motorcycles, although it is somewhat limited, so you might need to be patient or arrive early to secure a spot.
Overall, Lapo Dapo is a good choice for those looking to enjoy some delicious Chinese Muslim cuisine in Cheras, especially if youâre a fan of rich and flavorful curry mee. I would definitely recommend it, particularly for the excellent service and the...
Read moreEnvironment - Spacious and clean with aircond Parking - Few parking lots is provided in front of the restaurant for customers. Service - Good and friendly. Service speed is average for my table, but those tables after mine seems like waiting for quite a long time. Looking at many reviews here mentioning their service is slow, looks like I am lucky đ Food - Tried the curry noodles and nasi lemak rendang. Nasi lemak is good, nasi is fragrance, rendang is delicious. Sambal is a little too sweet to my liking. Curry noodles are average, the curry flavour not strong enough and not much santan. Ordered butter kaya toast as well, taste is average but give very thick cut butter which is a plus point. Beverages - Ordered their hot kopi, not much flavour and taste quite bland. A little disappointed as i see many good reviews about the kopi.
Overall is a good dining experience. May come back for the food if got pass by but will not be my yam cha place option. Sorry forgot to take photos as we are...
Read moreThus morning, a group of us went for breakfast. I order spaghetti with the tiger prawns. The food was served. The prawns were small unlike those I ordered in the past. I took just a bite and immediately spitted that out, the prawns were not fresh at all and so were the other 2. I ate none of them. I called one of their young man worker and informed him that the prawns were not fresh. Surprisingly, he just looked away and insisted they were fresh. How would he know without tasting or touching the prawns. I told him to inform the kitchen but he did not want to and just walked away. Later on, I found out that the other prawns that served with the noodle soup were also not fresh. We called the other foreign woman worker and she was good in handling such bad food problem. She took all the bad prawns and passed on to the kitchen. We called to speak to the manager but no manger was around, it was about 10 am. The worker needs to be trained to handle such complaints and should not...
