Had breakfast and it was a delightful experience. The food they serve is simply amazing. The flavors and presentation of each dish exceeded my expectations.
I ordered the Belly's Breakie, a breakfast platter that was a true delight. The combination of flavors and textures was fantastic. Every bite was a burst of deliciousness. The sautéed mushrooms had a rich, earthy flavor that complemented the other components of the dish perfectly. The chicken sausage was incredibly flavorful and cooked to perfection.
Another dish I tried was the chili scrambled eggs. The eggs were cooked to a creamy consistency, and the addition of dried shrimp and mushrooms added a unique and delightful twist to the dish. The flavors blended harmoniously, leaving me wanting more.
The menu offers a great variety of dishes to choose from, and each one is crafted with care and attention to detail. Whether you're a fan of traditional breakfast items or looking to try something more adventurous, you'll find something to satisfy your cravings.
The prices at the cafe are reasonable and offer good value for the quality and taste of the food. It's definitely worth every penny spent.
The cafe provides a relaxing environment, making it an ideal place to enjoy a leisurely breakfast. The ambiance is warm and inviting, making you feel right at home.
While the service may take a bit of time, it didn't bother me at all. The staff is friendly and attentive, and their dedication to providing a great dining experience is evident.
Lastly, I appreciate that the cafe is mindful of different dietary preferences, including being Muslim-friendly.

Read moreWas here for lunch on a public holiday. Not much of a crowd and can find a table immediately without any waiting time.
We ordered the Italian tuscan salmon (RM35) which was a creamy oniony sauce with panfried salmon served with bread. The bread was chewy and tasty, and sopped up every last bit of cream very well! Salmon was crispy and tasty, definitely recommend this dish.
We also had the wild mushroom pasta (RM25) which tasted like I was eating mushroom soup. There were a variety of mushrooms, mostly sautéed except the oyster mushrooms which were deep fried in batter. Quite a unique dish which you can't find anywhere else.
We also ordered their signature fruit tea (RM18) which came in a teapot. The tea leaves were really fragrant, and it was infused with orange and pear slices.
Unfortunately, I didn't see any free flow of water being served here, but to be fair - I didn't ask either.
Staff service were quick and friendly enough. Ambience was mostly concrete/industrial design, not the cosy kind, but still quite comfortable to spend some time lounging in.
Parking at Taman Yulek itself is notorious for being difficult/close to impossible, especially during peak lunch hours. So be prepared to park further and walk over.
I saw they had slice cakes for about RM17 a piece, with flavours like butterscotch cookies, chocolate and burnt cheesecake. But I was too full to try any of the cakes, so...
Read moreI dined here to celebrate my friend's birthday in January, making a reservation prior to our arrival. When I reached the restaurant, one waiter looked at me like I was a fish out of water. The look on his face looked as if he was wondering why I was in the restaurant. He made no attempt to approach me/seat me and just stood at the corner like a block of wood.
I approached the cashier at the counter (a different employee), and told him about the reservation I made, and only then was I directed to my reserved table. After I was seated with my friends, Mr.Wood gave us our menus and walked away without a word.
We ordered their signature Fuji don, some creamy roasted chicken chop and roasted chicken chop. The Fuji don tasted great with a large portion that could be considered double portion. Both the roasted chicken chops tasted average and are pretty small in portion. On top of that, when my friend requested they remove the vegetables and replace them with an equal amount of fries, they simply removed the vegetables.
The ambience was cozy, great for hangouts and overall a nice place to chill and relax.
My only qualm with the place is the attitude of the workers there, otherwise feel free to try...
