Visited Sendaloka and tried a variety of dishes, nasi goreng kampung, kuetiau goreng, cucur udang, and added on beef nachos as well.

The beef nachos arrived first. Portion was okay, nachos were flavoured, but the beef mix itself tasted quite average. Not bad, but nothing that stood out.

Next came the nasi goreng kampung, which turned out to be the highlight of the meal. The aroma was really inviting and it came with a sunny side up on top. Portion size was just average, but I really liked the taste, everything was well balanced, flavourful and comforting.

The kuetiau goreng that followed was a bit underwhelming. I was hoping for that signature wok hei one, but it tasted more like a regular kuetiau goreng you can find anywhere. Nothing particularly special about it.

As for the cucur udang, the portion was big, which was nice, but would have preferred them to be crispier. Each piece only had one average sized prawn inside. The dipping sauce was also on the sweet side for me , I think it would be better if they offered an option with peanut sauce, which usually pairs really well with cucur udang.

Service wise, everything was okay. Staff were attentive enough, nothing to complain about. The ambience was good too, comfortable seating, and there’s even an upstairs area which I think would work well for private gatherings or small events.

Overall, such a decent dining experience. The nasi goreng kampung definitely stood out, but some of the other dishes could use improvement, especially in terms of flavour...

As someone who truly appreciates good food and enjoys fine dining, I honestly didn’t expect the dishes at this humble café to impress me this much!

Here’s what I ordered: • Nasi Lemak Ayam Rempah – 9/10 Generous portion, the ayam rempah was perfectly cooked, tender inside, crispy outside. Reminiscent of something you’d get at a Michelin-starred spot. The sambal could use a bit more punch, but still satisfying overall. • Nasi Goreng Tomyam – 10,000/10 Yes, you read that right. It was bursting with flavour just like what you’d expect at a 5-star hotel. Definitely a must-try! • Cucur Udang – 5/10 Huge portion with one large prawn in each piece. Loved the crispy outside and soft inside. Unfortunately, the batter tasted slightly undercooked but still, full marks for the generous prawns! • Fish & Chips – 8/10 Another big portion served with fries. The fish was tasty and cooked well. A solid choice. • Mee Hoon Singapore – 7/10 A nice surprise! Tasted better than your usual mamak version, and the price makes it worth it. • Nasi Ayam Masak Lemak – 7/10 Rich and creamy. You can taste all the ingredients coming through, but the creaminess was a bit much for my personal taste. Still, well-executed. • Apple, Watermelon & Orange Juice Fresh, natural, and absolutely refreshing. Loved them all!

Every dish tasted like it was prepared with care and attention. Hats off to the chef. I came in with no expectations and left with a happy tummy and high...

Went to this Restaurant & Cafe for the first time trial.. After entering the shop, we sat down, and were given a menu ... because we came in the morning there was only a breakfast menu .. ok lah then, it's okey since I didn't eat yet. So we looked at the menu .. and i asked the waiter about the English breakfast because the price was too expensive for rm29.00... and the waiter was unable to explain what was on the menu and the reason that there were no sample pictures on the menu .... then... I just saying ermm .. still thinking about what to order, because there aren't many options. finally I ordered nasi lemak rendang and Hot chocolate... and when it arrived on the table, the food and water were all slightly cold... the chicken rendang was cold, the rice too, not to mention the hot chocolate also was slightly cold ... I think the taste of that chicken rendang is not so good and it feels like it's already Stale... I wonder if the rendang had been cooked for too long... we didn't finish eating, we paid and left... the food was cold but there were no customers at that time... I don't know... not like what we expect ..we are so sad because the price is expensive to get cold food . It's better that we go to other streets stall to having a breakfast, much satisfied .. such a waste to eat while everything...

I’ve visited this restaurant four times. My first two visits were great ,both the food and the staff were excellent. However, during my third and fourth visits, I had a disappointing experience. The same staff member took my order incorrectly on both occasions and did not acknowledge the mistake or offer an apology. Instead, I was asked to take away the wrong dish because it couldn’t be cancelled and the food was RM28 too expensive for me to accept it. I understand the policy, but it’s concerning that the same staff repeated the same mistake without taking responsibility. I hope the management can look into this to improve the service. I really like this place, but consistent service is important too. P/s : For future customers, I recommend asking the staff to repeat the order clearly to avoid any misunderstanding.
