Clarification : 1 star given to attract the management to read my reviews. Will update once i get their attention/respond 😁

Joining the hype i must said. Forever fan of Nippon Sushi but not this 😬 1- Went there for dinner, arrived at approx 8:30pm. No queue and have plenty of seats. Aircon was super blast, you don’t feel hot or suffocate at all. Parking need to pay but only accept TnG.

2- Selection was moderate, choice of meat & fish, processes food, vege, choice of rice, desserts and drinks. No pre cooked meals or sushi. Which makes me frustrated because i came for their sushi. In Menu book there are sushi but not on the scene. So bad if the reason due to night time 👎🏿

3- Taste wise similar to another food chain ‘S’.

4- Seat was full with oil, i bet from the previous cooking.

5- Staff wasn’t very friendly, the choice of words that used need to improve.

6- Ask for rice topup, since both rice cooker already empty. But the staff simply give excuse it takes time to cook the rice with all preparation bla bla bla. And it was only 9 pm, the restaurant close at 10:30~11:00pm. Not even white rice was prepared. The place are still full with customer eating 😅

7- Another customer asked for drinks topup, and again the same staff said it is already finished. And it was only 9:30 pm. But after few customer demanding for it, only then he came out with a pitcher.

8- I understand that you’re trying to minimize your work since it approaching to closing time, but it is very not necessary to simply say you are no longer serving some menu just because of that. We, customer pay for your service and menu and it’s not like 30mins to closing time. It’s more than 1 hour left.

9- Love their dessert, popping boba was nice

Hint staff - Dine in on 26/08/24...

Good: Food is ok. Sushi variation is not much but still ok. The sauce is nice. Experience your self to experiment the sauces. I love the mango bingsu even the topping is not much. For grills they have 4 options, beef, lamb, chicken and fish. If you go to this kind of place, eat the most expensive things. I aim for beef and lamb. Dont waste your stomach with a lot of fish ball/vege/mushroom which you can easily get at the grocery store. Each person will be given 1 token. You can redeem your token with few menu option which are not on the table. The premise and utensils are clean. Cozy sitting, not crowded and stuffy like some other place. Staffs are good as well.

Flaws: I give 2 stars for service because I dont agree with their first come first serve basis system. I came on the weekend plus it is a pay day. Waiting time is super long. Such a waste of time waiting with your empty stomach. It is super tiring. I almost lost my appetite while waiting. They have batch system, but still cant confirm what is the exact time of your sitting. If you insist to eat here, dont go far. They might call you before the time that you are suppose to enter. They will only call your name once, and call your mobile once. If you miss that, you will miss your chance. I came at 12.30pm (batch 3) and get my sitting at 3.30pm. Some of batch 3 enter during the batch 2 session.

Suggestion to store: Please open for booking so customer will not waste time waiting and can manage their time accordingly.

Recommendation to customer: If you are willing to wait, this place is nice to eat because they have both soup and grill. But if you have no patience to wait or you are super hungry, best if you get another option...

I know people will compare this brand with sukiya and bbq town and say the other brand is better, but from my personal point of view as a fan of both brands, I think you should realize that syabuyaki has its own identity, different taste and food offered. For me, this place is very interesting because it provides both grilled and soup (2 options & personal favorite are shabuyaki and spicy mala), they also provide a choice of fish, lamb and meat. Their meat is also quite thick so it might be a bit liat but for me it's okay and not a big deal. As for the choice of processed food, it is more or less the same as other brands. Only at this station there is no seafood such as mussels or clams same goes to Vegetables but just no tomatoes. As for the sauce part, it won't be the same as other brands because like I said earlier, they have their own identity, so their sauces are different and delicious if you know how to mix n match them. The sauce I made is similar to sukiya and bbq town so it also depends on your creativity. They also provide a marinate sauce for the grilled meat, and I think it's very tasty and unique because the meat will be more flavorful when it is grilled . For dessert, they provide shaved ice with various flavors. There are also desserts such as steamed eggs. And each customer will receive 1 token to redeem the premium food. I redeemed the durian mochi and it was very soft and had a rich durian flavor. The choice of drink is also interesting. For their services is normal depending on the condition of the store at that time. So I highly recommend coming on a weekday. Parking is paid....
