Shyet-Li’s Kopitiam — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

I have been coming here on and off for a few years now. I have always had satisfying meals here. So I dont understand the 3.3 rating currently given to it. My meal this time was Curry Laksa, followed by a hot kopi susu which was done exactly how I like it, ie the susu never made it to the top and the coffee remained slightly bitter. The laksa was fine. Was there for lunch today. We ordered 2 ayam penyet set, chendol and hot kopi-o. Rice was cold, oinon sambal was not onion sambal, tempeh was sliced so thin it could fly and was tasteless. Chicken barely passed (hence 1-star). Cendol rather tasteless. Luckily the Kopi-o was decent hence the 2nd star. Overall an unsatisfactory lunch. May be a long time before we dare try this place again. Hope they will improve its quality. Have given them a few chances already....

I decided to eat the Nasi Lemak Rendang Ayam today. Sadly, the Ikan Bilis that they served was in fact no good - hard and chewy (Ikan Bilis yang dah lama you served to your customer). This is not good and when I asked for a fresh Ikan Bilis, the waitress gave me the same one.. still hard, smell not good and still chewy.. you can know that the Ikan Bilis is not fresh….👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 To the owner, please don’t serve your customers makanan...
