Please be prepared yourself to spare some time for waiting because there is very crowded especially weekends. This is a place where is affordable compared to other sushi restaurant and the staff are quite nice. At least they provide standard service during the peak hours. They will never show ugly faces to the customers although they are very packed during peak hours.
The only problem is the customers have nowhere to wait for their turn. Most of the customers will stand at the corridor right in front of the shop as there are limited seats at the waiting area. Therefore, I will normally take the number from the staff then have a visit at the shops which are located at the same row especially the pharmacy. It will help me to kill the waiting time for my turn.
You can also ask for the set of cutlery for kids if you go with your children. The staff at there treat kids nicely so far as I noticed that they treated my son quite nicely.
For payment, you can choose to pay with cash or credit card. They have no e-wallet payment channel so far. They’re advised to add this as one of the payment method. Hence, it will be more convenient for the customers.
In the other hand, they may be advised to maintain their physical environment like wall paper. It will be more attractive and comfortable.
I am a regular customer and really hope to see the improvements for the environment and the additional of payment channel for the coming visit. Both of my sons really like to...
Read moreHad a really unpleasant experience here this afternoon when I came to take away some sushi. The female cashier’s service was terrible — she stood there with a black face, as if I owed her money. And it wasn’t just me; when other customers came in, she gave the same attitude, like the whole world owes her something.
When I said I wanted to make a takeaway order, she told me there’s no menu in the restaurant and just pointed outside, basically hinting I should figure it out myself. Very welcoming, isn’t it?
Afterward, I went through the Google reviews and guess what — I’m clearly not the only one. Customers have been pointing this out for at least a year already. And every time, the owner replies with the same generic “We will look into it, could you provide your contact number so our PIC will contact you to obtain further details” line. Well, let me save you the trouble: Based on my receipt, the cashier is Vivian — a foreign female cashier with the a black face. How many Vivians or cashiers like that can you possibly have in one shop, right?
To be clear, I’ve been to other branches before and never faced such an issue. Service elsewhere was fine — so clearly, this branch is the rotten apple. If management really cared, this would’ve been fixed long ago instead of copy-pasting the same response.
Food might be okay, but service like this? Completely ruins...
Read moreWe visited for an early dinner on a weekday and found no queue outside. Parking in this area is always challenging and depends on your luck. Be sure to pay for parking to avoid fines. We were greeted rather indifferently by the cashier, who simply told us our table number without pointing us in the right direction. Despite seeing us struggle to locate the table, he did not offer any assistance. As this was our first visit, we were unfamiliar with the restaurant's layout. The least he could have done was to guide us properly.
We noticed that the floor, tables, and chairs were not very clean. We understand the restaurant has a high turnover rate, but cleanliness is still essential. We also peeked into the kitchen, and its cleanliness was not up to standard. Some staff wore mask and some didn't.
The Salmon Wrap (6 pcs) for RM10.80 was okay, and the Ten Cha Soba for RM12.80 was quite terrible—the tempura batter was thick and not crispy. We also tried some sushi from the conveyor belt, which was average at best. Overall, the food quality and taste were below average, but the prices were reasonable. Fortunately, the wasabi was alright, unlike many places that serve stale or spoiled wasabi. With improvements in food quality, restaurant cleanliness, and customer service, this business has the potential to be even...
