Texas Chicken @ Wangsa Walk Mall — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Too much cost cutting la. Chicken is amazingly tiny. It was known for having bigger chicken than kfc in the past- this was one of its selling points. No french fries but a small muffin in lieu. KFC meals provide more value for money, as it has improved with the surrounding competition. The standard of texas chicken had dropped a lot. This is consistent in my previous visits to this outlet- the serving is consistenly small, and consistently overfried as well.

Mental note to self is, never come back here.

Other improvement points: Staff is not focused and takes a long time to process orders. Seemed engrossed in their own conversations rather than being focused on their jobs. The placecard displaying promotions should be prominent and right in front of customer, and the cashier must make sure of this. In my situation, the placecard was on the next counter. Food is up to standard. The fried chicken is good and the biscuit is a must try. Texas Chicken is pretty much the only place I know of that sells Southern-style biscuits that is pretty good and can be easily gotten. However, service can be slow, especially at peak hours. It's also annoying that they are reluctant to give you the chicken parts that you want. Their response will always be I can't guarantee you I'll give you the part you want, which is a bit ridiculous since other fast food chains have no problem giving you the parts you want, even if it means you may need to wait. I went to eat there at least once every week or 2 weeks for 4/5 months already. I'm sorry but you guys really need to be more friendly towards customer. Only the person in charge is friendly while others are so cold and as if I'm talking to robots. Worst is the one worker that often cleans the eating place. Even though she's old and probably works there like for years that doesn't mean you can be mad and shout at customers. Why can't ask politely? I worked in customer service and retail stores I've never treated customers like that. It's such a shame. I hope they can change...
