Thai Siam Noodle | Thonglor Bar | Kepong — Restaurant in Kuala Lumpur

Was searching for tomyam to eat then we came across this particular shop at Kepong which is about an hour drive from where we are and decided to give it a try (praying in my heart that this better be good else I’ll be sad wei). So we ordered creamy tomyam pork mama and boat noodle.

For tomyam, I love it very much which will be the thing I’m definitely gonna order if I were to return here again but I don’t mind to try some other foods too. As for the boat noodle, portion is hugeeeee but it has a taste that I don’t quite fancy (could be basil?).

Then I also saw they have Foofoo Roti and we still order it coz we tamjiak 🤣

It’s best to reach here around 6pm because during that time it’s still quite empty but it started to get very packed by 7pm.

The only thing I don’t quite like is that there are quite some mosquitoes around and the air curtain not sure it’s working well or not lah. And if the air conditioner can be colder it will be the best!

This is another great Thai restaurant that isn't halal, but definitely worth a visit. They offer a variety of authentic Thai dishes, and I highly recommend trying their Thai-style noodles.

Their noodles, especially the boat noodles, have an authentic taste and are priced affordably, making them a great value for the taste you get.

While most of their menu is good, some dishes like krapow might not be completely authentic. As a Thai native, I've never seen krapow with mushrooms before, which makes it seem less authentic. However, the taste is still good, and the spiciness is just right for Thai flavors. Their beverages like Thai milk tea or red soda (แดงโซดา) also complement spicy food well and taste delicious. The staff here are very friendly, and the decorations create a chill atmosphere.

The boat noodle is good, the minced pork rice portion is small, and the Tom Yum fried rice is just normal taste.

Thai mango salad - tend to be over salty. The pork neck portion also very small.

Not worth to order the side.
