Firstly the restaurant setting and ambience was good. There wasn't any customer when we entered near 10pm so we enquired if they were still open for dine in. We were welcomed into the restaurant, being informed last order at 10.30pm, we placed order quickly.
After waited for 15mins or so, they brought us the charcoal grill and meat. We noticed the fire wasn't prepared well, nonetheless we took it that they are the experts hence we started placing the meat on the grill. That's when things went downhill. The waitress Cecelia came over and told us "You are slow, I will do it for you, we are closing at 10.30pm".
Taken aback at the remark, I enquired what is the opening hour of the restaurant. The waitress's reply was "Google map is wrong, I will allow you to eat till 10.45pm. We always close at this time."
I requested the waitress to leave the table for us to man the grill ourselves and have our food without her presence. Another waiter came thereafter to ask if we would like to order anything else, and apologetically explained they close at 11pm and the waitress does not speaks English well. (She said it in plain blatant english sentences, there wasn't any means for confusion nor misunderstanding)
Reasonableness and decent service is the least that a restaurant should provide to a customer. I would say restaurant interior and food was good, service and experience...
Read moreDon't know if I can recommend this place. My biggest beef (pun intended) with this place is the price tag. Just not worth the money, unless you can afford to order multiple RM500+ trays of wagyu since each of their sets are only sufficient to feed 2 people. Meat is fresh but I just couldn't with the measly beef portions and the side dishes are pretty abysmal and nothing to write home about.
Servers aren't more aware that the bigger your group the faster/more often they should be checking in on the refills and the needs of your dining party. Service is good and courteous but not great because of the lack of awareness. Place is nicely and comfortably decorated but the food doesn't live up to the atmosphere.
Expect to spend at least RM200 per person for a meal that will leave you feeling moderately full. Anything less will only mean you'll probably leave the restaurant still starving and needing to go to a mamak for a second round of food. If that price point is nothing to you or you're loaded enough to be cool with that, I think you'll likely have a better experience than I did. Otherwise, your money could be better...
Read moreI recently had the displeasure of dining at a restaurant that left me thoroughly disappointed with their service. Rushed atmosphere and an unreasonable expectation to finish all the food on the table within a mere two hours. It felt as if the staff were constantly hovering around our table, eagerly waiting to pounce on any unfinished dish to charge us the full price. oppressive and unwelcoming environment
Within this 2 hours buffet dinner period , restaurant staff kept telling us if we didn't finish this plate will charge full price , didn't finish that will charge full price when we are chit chatting and taking our time and enjoy dishes we had cooked . Is Yakiniku ! You definitely need some time .
restaurant staff seemed more interested in rushing us out than providing a pleasant dining experience. The rushed atmosphere, contribute to a highly negative dining experience. As a customer, I value being able to dine at my own pace and feel comfortable in the...
