I recently had the pleasure of indulging in a delightful unagi rice dish that left a lasting impression. Presented in a traditional bento box, the visual appeal was immediately captivating. The unagi, perfectly grilled to a caramelized finish, sat atop a bed of fluffy white rice. Each bite of the eel was a harmonious blend of sweet and savory, thanks to the rich, glossy glaze generously applied.

The texture of the eel was impeccable, tender and buttery, contrasting beautifully with the slightly crispy edges. The rice absorbed the flavors of the unagi sauce, enhancing every mouthful with its subtle yet distinct taste.

Accompanying the dish were a few slices of fresh orange, providing a refreshing palate cleanser between bites. The overall presentation was both elegant and inviting, making the meal feel special from start to finish.

In addition to the main elements, the side of miso soup and dipping sauce further complemented the dish, adding layers of depth to the dining experience.

In summary, this unagi rice was a perfect blend of flavors and textures, beautifully presented and exceptionally satisfying. A must-try for anyone who appreciates fine...

According to the waitress I chat with, this brand was in the market for about 21 years already. Though, this is the first time I come across it at Bukit Jalil. They recently moved from Scott Garden. Due to it being just opened for about a week, they were having a promotion of a free scoop of house made ice cream which were quite delicious as a dessert after a scrumptious Japanese meal.

The menu offers a plethora of Japanese dishes and also set menu though they do not serve yakitori. It's understandable because their menu doesn't include beer which is part and parcel of yakitori. Though, that should not stop you from asking if they sell any Japanese beer...

I ordered the teppanyaki chicken set and also a mix of sushi with cold soba noodles. There were absolutely delicious. The set menu comes with a fruits, miso soup and a small dish of appetizer.

Price wise, it's not cheap but fair. Not overly expensive like Yuzu in The Gardens mall, but not cheap like Sushi Jiro in Mid Valley mall.

In summary, this is as close as you get for great Japanese food, unless you fly to...

Got very angry experience today. My husband’s order was given to other table when my husband told the staff (staff A) that was his order. The staff didn’t check properly and ignore my husband and gave the set to other table. The other staff (staff B who took our order) was so surprise to see my husband’s order still not here because I almost finish my food. Staff B went to check our order with kitchen and kitchen said the set was already sent out and staff A took it. Staff B went questioned staff A and here’s how staff A replied:’ Aiyaaaa…I don’t know laaaaa….I don’t know I bring to where edi la!!’…… Hello excuse me, what kind of customer service is this?….and they didn’t even try to react quickly saying ‘so sorry for our mistake, we will make your order now!’ They just say ‘sorry ah…sorry ah!’ But we couldn’t feel the sincerity at all……my husband decided to leave. They also never offer to waive our bill for their mistake nor any token of appreciation for next visit. Seriously, the owner of this restaurant really need to give a proper customer service training to...

When I come to KL, this is my go to place for authentic and delicious Japanese food. Although They have moved from Scott garden to bukit jail, the quality of the food is excellent as always.I got my unagi bento which comes with sides of miso soup , bean sprouts and fruit for only RM38, that's a bargain. Staff is nice and friendly especially Ms Maple who is dedicated serving her customers.. . . Service aside, someone working in the restaurant has a good taste in Japanese music, well the song orange from the anime your lie in April was playing when im there and boy ...the feels came back me. :3 . .
