This place is what I would call the true definition of "hidden gem". A truly unique dining experience as I myself am not a vegetarian but I came here with my wife who is one, and this place did not disappoint, from presentation, taste, quality and service 👍
Menu can be a bit daunting for first timers, and I had a hard time picking what to eat as everything was very new to me, but staff members were very attentive and patient with us, and even gave us a full tour of their meals, preparation methods, average waiting time and made recommendations based on our dietary preferences (taste, texture, ingredient, etc). Service is on par, and at times, even outshining high-priced restaurants.
In terms of food, their potato wedges is truly mind-blowing. We have not tasted something so simple yet so delightful. You've got to try it to believe me. My missus enjoyed the udon though it was a little bit under seasoned for my liking, but it is still good nonetheless. The carbonara is a very unique experience as the overall sauce texture had more bite than I expected, which gave it a very fulfilling aftertaste. I loved how the blended puree complimented the spaghetti, where the spaghetti didn't feel as though it was store bought. Would also recommend to try. Last we ordered the Couple Sushi set which came with 8pcs of selected sushi. They had a wider selection, but as some of them had a minimum order of 6pc, we decided to get something where we could try a bunch, hence our order.
Overall our experience at this restaurant was fantastic and would highly recommend to vegetarians and vegans, as well as those transitioning towards a more vegetable-oriented dietary. My only regret is not discovering this place sooner 😂
Other areas of improvement would be to consider brightening up the dining spot a little more, as it can get quite hard to read the menu, and the menu paper gloss makes it hard to read some parts due to spotlight reflection from the pendant lights above the table.
If you've reached this far, thanks for reading. Would love to express more but you'd start to feel like my review is paid, so yeah, here's the end 😂 You can bet I'll be back for...
Read moreMy recent experience here was disappointing. I noticed that the atmosphere and the taste changed a lot, the friendly chinese restaurant owner is no more there, he used to talk with us nicely and explain patiently.
Nowaday the service was incredibly slow, and the service crew appeared unfriendly and uninterested. So fake the faces now
I ordered happiness family and global warming maki sushi. The rice was unevenly sticky, lacking the necessary vinegar flavor, it was oily too. And the noodles were overcooked to the point of being mushy and unpleasant to eat.
Moreover, the fried rice lacked authenticity, as it wasn't made with sushi rice and was overflavored with MSG, leaving me feeling thirsty after consuming it.
bad dining experience, I would not...
Read moreIf you’re looking for some comfort food with affordable price and with a soothing ambience, this is the place to be! I’m not a vegan but somehow the menu displayed on ground floor just caught my attention. I love the fact that the food is prepared freshly, so it might take awhile to be served. They used natural ingredients so I wasn’t at all thirsty after finishing the whole bowl of udon soup. Food is definitely very tasty. I didn’t know vegan food can be so delicious! The owner is very friendly and I enjoyed listening to him explaining all about the food served on the menu. You can tell how meticulous he is on all the ingredients of food that his used. I’ll definitely recommend this place to my friends and bring my...
