I had the pleasure of dining at Yat Yat Seng, and I must say it exceeded all my expectations. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with attentive staff who made us feel right at home. A special shoutout to our waiter, Kumar and team, who was exceptional – friendly, knowledgeable, and very attentive to our needs throughout the meal. The entire team was polite and professional, ensuring we had a comfortable and enjoyable experience. Premium local food. Ipoh taste. Extensive menu with local delights, pricing slightly on the higher side. Manned by foreigners. Can’t see locals working.

Ordered signature nasi lemak with died chicken, dry curry noodle and kopi o panas.

Signature nasi lemak - nothing to shout about. Never liked rice with black lines. Chicken is tender sambal is nice, was given 2 without asking. I like.

Dry curry noodle - can’t taste curry at all. Would’ve preferred the sauce to be on the side. Charsiew is dry, roasted pork skin not crunchy, prawns could be fresher.

Kopi-o - nice. I like 👍🏼 not too sweet too.

Place is with AC and fan but unfortunately not cooling enough. Cleanliness is ok. Comfortable but will be better with stronger AC.

Discovered this place while waiting for my car to be serviced. It’s located next to Mercure Hotel.

Outlet is comfortably air conditioned, cleaned and hygiene.

Menu offered variety of local noodle dishes such as Hor Fun, Laksa…etc.

They also have some Dim Sum but I wouldn’t recommend as I had the Lor Mei Gai and Siew Mei… it wasn’t good.

But their Chicken rice is good and delicious. Chicken was smooth and juicy.

I also ordered their Premium Laksa for RM33… it was good if you love lots of meats…🐷

Coffee was smooth and strong… not bad!

Service could be better. Their foreign staff should be more attentive and pay attention to the guest without waiting for people to raise or call them.
