Dropped by for an early breakfast on a weekday, and since it was still quite early (around 7:00am), there were plenty of parking spots available along the street. However, the restaurant was already almost full. There are only two stalls operating here—one selling Pan Mee, and the other offering Curry Mee and Wantan Mee. Most diners seemed to be ordering the Pan Mee, so we decided to try it as well. You’ll need to place your order directly at the Pan Mee stall, and the lady boss is quite friendly.
We ordered two bowls of hand-pulled Pan Mee (small: RM9.00 per bowl). Apart from the usual Pan Mee chilli sauce, they also served a special pickled onion, which was a nice touch. Portion sizes are standard, and the ingredients were decent. Unfortunately, we didn’t particularly enjoy the noodles as the dough was too thick for our liking, and the chilli sauce wasn’t very impressive. They added some coriander to the Pan Mee, so if you’re not a fan, be sure to let them know when placing your order. Also, the foreign staff member who served our noodles came across as a bit rude.
Cleanliness-wise, the restaurant could definitely do better. The good thing is that this place opens as early as 5:30am, making it ideal for those looking for breakfast at the crack of dawn. Overall, we felt the Pan Mee was just average. We’re curious about the other stall though, so might pop by again next time we're in the area to...
Read moreWent to this restaurant but I would only rate 1 star, reason only 1 star rating, as they deserve the star that their price for foods are reasonable.
BUT, The scales of the fish we ordered are not clean, and after our first two bites, we complaint to the boss immediately, but they blame the responsibility to their own workers, and say will deduct some amount from the total bill.
Then we are ok with it, because to change another whole fish is really a waste of food.
Once we got the bill, we found out that they only discount RM10 for this mistakes! This is such an insult for us, then we quickly took the photo of the fish (after we finished the dinner).
This is our first time and last time to come to this restaurant, we came to this restaurant because we saw the reviews are quite positive, but somehow proven us wrong.
Such a memorable...
Read moreCame here for breakfast as lots of good comments about the food here. We have ordered Curry Mee and hand pull pan mee. The curry broth is fragrant (not much santan) with a hint of sweetness and spicyness. If you don't like spicy but still crave for curry noodle this curry would be very suitable. The broth for hand pull pan mee is clear with anchovies taste. It taste slightly to the sweetness side maybe be they have added rock suger in the broth. In order to covered the sweetness they top it up with chai Poh or salted radish. Their pan mee texture is smooth and bouncy, just a little thicker. I would say both dish is the best in this area. Just a simple remark that, you need to be here early because most of the time before 10.30am everything...
