We had two failed attempts to get a taste of the much raved kuih keria antarabangsa during our previous visits to Melaka. Undeterred, persisted only to be redirected, as kuih antarabangsa Hjh Rahmah is now sold at a property. Third time lucky! It was Thursday lunchtime and there was surprisingly a very short queue with 2-3 persons before me and 1-2 persons behind me, however the person in front ordered 60 pcs! There were only about 15-25pcs left after my purchase. 3 huge round trays, all cleared!! Keeping to it's reputation, a new queue had started, patiently waiting for the next delivery which was about 10-15mins later as kuih is prepared offsite. Was excited to taste this very popular kuih. On first bite, i was rather disappointed as the gula melaka coating tasted "too sweet" and filling almost "tasteless" (expectations too high)! However upon finishing my first keria, i found myself wanting to have another. What really got me was how wholesome and chunky the sweet potato was, soft and almost "succulent" to chew, unsweetened and nicely balanced by the naturally sweet gula melaka coating. Totally addictive. We actually went back next day (twice), thinking it was only closed during Friday prayers however it remained closed. Definitely worth a try if in Melaka. Go on a weekday to avoid long queues!! Closed on Fridays.

Kuih keria sedap. They are more generous with the ubi, a lot less sweet and more crunchier compared to the other shop (Hajah Rahmah). Crunchy outside and super soft inside, less sugary bits outer layer. I love both and cannot choose which one is nicer. Go ahead and try both! We went during the weekend at 12pm and there was no queue, probably because it was also raining 😀 They've moved to a better shoplot which is a lot more easier to get parking. 10 pieces for RM9

First and certainly the last. A quick stop on the way to our accommodation. Not like the usual quality at other shops. The sugar coating was liquidified, whereas normally U will get the sugar crust. As per photo, no QC on the keria, U can get the burnt crust keria...if U did not pay attention...(2 out of 6 pieces) for RM1 per piece, seller should at least give the best product, not the rejects...unless,.perhaps some customers like it that way....

Initially, we have visited the famous keria stall at the roadside. But due to the long queues, we had changed our mind to try this kedai instead. When we reached, we are lucky enough that the van with the kuih keria just arrived at the kedai and we assume that the kuih were cooked at the famous stall. Overall, i like the kuih as it is quite big in size, 100% ubi (cannot taste the flour at all) and of course the gula melaka is very nice.

One of the best kuih keria I've ever consumed! 10 pieces is RM7. Be prepared to queue up and wait for 20 mins or so for the next following batch if the current batch is sold out. One of the days, I was lucky to buy it fast because no long queues and it was 11am. But the next day I came at 2pm and it was long queue but not too bad because usually they work fast but be patient. You'll get the best freshly made keria of your life! 😁👍

A Melaka classic! Although as a Malaccan, I wish there could be less visitors cause the roads are seriously jammed up at these 3 Kuih Keria Spots. Best eaten while its hot, and with black coffee...would be a superb mix of sweet and coffee bitter taste. Oh, Kuih Keria is made of Sweet Potatoes that are mashed up and later fried with Gula Melaka (Palm Sugar). Yum Yum!! Good for many visits!!
