This was our first visit to Eat Toast Melaka, and we were impressed by the variety on offer. The restaurant proudly holds the Malaysia Record for the most variety of toast in the country, which is certainly reflected in its extensive menu.
There are six types of breakfast sets available, each priced at RM8.90. For example, the Kaya Butter Toast Set, which includes generously buttered kaya toast, two eggs, and a cup of coffee, is both satisfying and reasonably priced. Another standout was the red bean soup with dried orange peel, which was well-cooked and had a comforting, rich flavor.
Not recommend the chocolate toast and the curry banjir toast with chicken chop as the curry is too salty, can feel it just directly use instant curry powder without mixture of fresh Santan.
Sardin cheese toast is acceptable good mixture. Good!
As for the environment, the space is tall but narrow as single shop lot. The air conditioning is incredibly cold, which might be perfect for those looking to escape the heat, but could feel a bit too chilly for some.
Overall, Eat Toast Melaka offers a wide variety of affordable and tasty options, making it a great spot for breakfast or...
Read moreFirst try and we had a very painful experience. We would definitely ban this cafe.
Both me and my wife went to this recently opened new cafe in Kota Laksamana for breakfast on 18/3/24. We ordered mee siam with fried chicken, mee goreng and a toast. Soon after that we were severely down with high fever (more than 39°C), chills and rigors, severe diarrhea and whole body ache. Basically we were just lying down and unable to stand up or do anything. We both took MC for 5 days, can you imagine how bad it was. Until today 22/3 (Day 5 after symptoms first started), we are still not recovering from the diarrhea. I still have at least 5x diarrhea today (on Day 5).
To the owner of this cafe, I hope you take care of your hygiene practice seriously. As I browsed through your past reviews, I found few comments of customers complaining of having diarrhea or not fully cooked food. This is definitely related to your unhygienic food handling practice!!!
We have been trying all different nice foods in Melaka and this is the first time we encountered such a painful experience. This cafe is definitely in our...
Read moreMany variety of toast breads. Too much choices. Haha...
Mee siam with fried chicken is not bad. Mee siam is served hot and fried chicken is freshly deep fried. (Maybe we lucky to get) comes with few slices of cucumber and an omelette egg not too hard. Just nice.
Egg mayo pocket toast not what i expected, but tasted ok. The egg mayo is like abit runny egg mixed with mayo, not the hard boiled egg that kind. But the pocket toast is nice. Crispy and nice.
Peanut butter toast tasted ok. Butter not much fragrant taste, but peanut butter is still ok. Overall the toast bread is not bad.
Yuan yang drink also taste ok. Not fascinating.
But they have alot of choices of food. Saw many people ordering "wah tan hoe" and saw "xiang di mi fen"....
Definitely will have a next time for me.... many food not...
