Asam Pedas Kasih Ibu will always be my favourite of all time, and I realized that the taste of their asam pedas today is better than the previous one. I am not sure, at which part. But yes, it was thicker, tastier, spicier. Of course, it could not beat their killer dish of the masak lomak cili api. Okay, to break it down, these were the dishes we have ordered on Sunday, 1230pm.
Table for 2; Nasi putih and masak lomak cili api rebung with aside of fried chicken. ^ I tell you, their lomak cili api was amazingly tasty! Their rebung, was easily to chew kerana tidak matang. Tidak berbau dan pahit di lidah. Their fried chicken on the other hand, the taste tu mengingatkan I kepada juadah kampung. Masin kunyit tu phew- sedap sangat.
Nasi putih bersama ulam-ulaman kacang botol dan timun. Paired with a bowl of asam pedas stingray (ikan pari). Sedap! Tidak hanyir, pekat likat dan secukup rasa. Rasanya tidak sepedas lomak cili api, so it is edible for someone who does not eat spicy food like my friend.
[Were the any issue we experienced at the place?] As fresh as the foods were served, but the stingray (ikan pari) was chewy. Still edible, but we did not enjoy much eating the chewy fish. We looked around for insect light trap, but there was none of them. I mean, they did close the lid of each lauk-pauk, still there was a lot of flies flying around the lauk terhidang. We got lucky to come by as early as we can be, but through times I think there would be insufficient tables and chairs for customers to seat. Maybe they can try to improve at this part? Sadly, there was no place for wheelchair accessibility. We came by a motorcycle, I guess we did not have any issue to park anywhere but for cars? It would be best if you guys can come at least before 2pm for a good/ nearer place to park. Especially for you guys who will be bringing the elderly.
The total price for our foods that day was RM26.50 along with 2 bowl of teh ais. I think, it was okay. Not too pricey, not too cheap.
[Will we ever come back...

However, restaurants are crowded with understaff. We had to partly help clean the table ourselves & wait for a full 15 minutes just to recognised which one is the staff. Waiters are nowhere to be seen & there's no special shirt for staff making it difficult to spot one. Need to add on more staff for cleaning & taking orders. Place is hot and humid. Best to get a table near to a fan. Order Lai Chee Kang or ABC! Parking space is a little bit limited. To save time, park at the parking spaces just opposite the restaurants. Remember what you eat as the staff will come to table while you eat & calculate the bills. It'll help them a lot and save your time if you pay as a single bill & count and divide later between those...

You can only see the vegetable but not the beef...i understand that you need to limit the serving but atleast label it.
