Visited here after seeing the hype, cendol was great, but the overall experience needs serious improvement. Before Opening: Arrived early but staff wouldn’t let us wait inside the parking lot. Ended up causing a small traffic jam on the roadside. Simple issue, yet still unmanaged. Atmosphere: Very hot under the zinc roof, though fans were provided. Fly problem still ongoing — staff should consider spraying tables with lemon or serai wangi sanitizer. Food Review: Masak Lemak Daging Salai: Creamy but bland, daging was tough and overcooked. Ikan Pari Bakar: Major letdown. Served old stingray with a strong smell and tough meat. Cendol: Absolutely worth the hype — rich, sweet, and creamy. Only minus: pulut portion was small. Other dishes (terung, tauge, lekor): Average or below expectations. Busker Issue: Music volume was way too loud — combined with the heat and crowd, it was uncomfortable. Ongoing complaint that’s still ignored by management. Exit Traffic: Parking exit was a mess. Long queue of cars near a junction made it worse. No traffic control or RELA in sight — another issue the owner hasn’t addressed despite years of operation. Stalls Variety: Plenty of choices, but food quality is hit-or-miss. Stalls such as evening snack, corndog, cendol, takoyaki, goreng2, bakar2 etc. Would return? Only for the cendol. Everything else needs...

I placed an order at Aimylicious Waffle & Sweets for my 4 y/o. The staff suddenly put up a “REHAT” sign and left. I waited more than 30 mins, only to find her eating and completely forgetting my order. My child kept asking for her waffle and got upset.
Of course I was angry & any parent would be, after waiting that long with a hungry child. But instead of apologizing, the owner told her daughter to just refund me and asked me to eat waffles elsewhere. She even said it was just a small matter and that I shouldn’t be angry, which only made things worse.
The daughter later came and apologized (which I appreciated), but the owner kept shouting non-stop. Even her own family tried to calm her down, but she refused.
I did apologize to the daughter for raising my voice, but I cannot forgive the owner. She only cared about her daughter’s feelings, while my child went home without the waffle she had been patiently waiting for.
My anger that day was not without reason. Before going home, my daughter asked me, “Why didn’t the aunty want to make my waffle?”
That question broke my heart, and it sums up how disappointing this...
Read moreStopped by PD Famous Cendol Coconut Shake after hearing so much about it. It’s a nice halal Malay restaurant, great for a quick bite or a casual dinner. The menu offers a wide range of local favorites like ikan bakar, nasi goreng, kuey teow goreng, and of course, their famous cendol. The cendol definitely lives up to its name — refreshing and delicious, especially on a hot day.
The place has a large dining area with plenty of tables, so finding a seat isn’t a problem. Parking is easy too, with ample free space nearby, which is always a plus in busy PD.
However, the ikan bakar was a bit disappointing — not as flavorful or fresh as expected. It could have been grilled better. Still, the overall experience was decent, and the variety of food options makes it worth a try if you’re in the area.
A good spot to relax, enjoy a bowl of cendol, and take in the local vibes, even if not everything on the menu...
