First time: Decent place to have local desserts. Tried their peanut soup and ginger soup with sesame balls, red bean glutinous sesame rice balls- tasty and not too sweet.
Second time: Peanut soup and bubur char char.
Third time visit: This time back to this place and had lunch with family. We ordered curry beancurd mix, polo bun with pork chop and cheese, pork chop rice with char siew sauce, bubur charchar, and yam cake.
The yam cake is abit too watery and smooshy, bubur char char with very little yam (pretty hard not well cooked), orange sweet potatoes and no purple potatoes, they even missed out sago in the serving and I had to remind them. I had this beauty right here, the perfect combo of smooth, creamy durian, chewy white pearls, and refreshing ice. The balance of texture and flavor? On point. Sweet, satisfying, and totally addictive.
Everything tasted fresh, and the portion was super generous. You can tell they put real care into what they serve. It’s not just dessert, IT IS AN EXPERIENCEEEEEEE.

Tried the curry chee cheong fun with pork ribs. The chee cheong fun was delicious but the pork a little tough.. would prefer if they use soft bones instead.
