Lucky Palace Restaurant Seremban 2 — Restaurant in Negeri Sembilan

Attending my sis wedding dinner. These are the dishes that served.

五福喜临门：It's a Appetizer of this sets of meals. Scallops cooked with mild and flavorful sauce. Baby Octopus and Jellyfish marinated with some sweet sauce. Pork Ribs cooked with marmite sauce. Fried fish spring roll with salted egg. 4 type of vegetables cooked with some mild sauce. None of these is bad. Really tasty!

竹笙三宝翅：It's serve with pot one by one. Not sure is real sharkfin or not. But recently quite less restaurant serve sharkfin. So I think it's fake fin soup(glass noodles) . Cooked together with crabmeat, Scallops, mushrooms with variety of seasoning. Exactly same like sharkfin soup.! Tasty.

招牌蒸龙虎斑：I think it's Brown-marbled grouper. This kind of fish is not cheap though. Cooked with chilli sauce, but not spicy. This dishes is tasty too.

碳烧西班牙肋骨拼烧鸭：Smoked pork rib cooked with Spainese style. The meat is separated with different layer of fats and meat. Meat is marinated and taste flavorful and delicious. Meat is juicy and tender. The smoked duck is also cooked with Spainese style but seems like its not marinated too long. So the taste not too tasteful. And somemore the meat its abit hard to bite. I prefer the pork rib more than the duck.

蒙古黑椒虾：Big prawn cooked with Mongolian pepper style. The prawn is tasty and spicy. Like this dishes too. But not too surprise.

冬菇海参鲍鱼：Mushroom, Sea cucumber, and Abalone cooked with flavorful mild sauce with alot of Brocolli too. The seafood is chewy and I like the texture.

蚝皇芥菜饭：Rice with mustard green and some dried oyster cooked with oyster sauce. This dishes is really tasty, but we are full after having so many dishes. So we ate not much. Definitely tasty compare to others dining rice.

美点映双辉：Brown one is bread with lotus seed paste(hot) and White one is mochi with peanut paste. I prefer brown one, but some of them more like the white one. Anyway both is tasty.

银杏雪儿奶露：Snow fungus cooked with some milk and some dingko. Kind of dessert for beauty. Taste also not bad.

Fully satisfied with all dishes. Having a great dinner!

Environment and atmosphere surely nice in this kind of restaurant. Sure the price is not cheap, but its worth. Morning having...

Actually I already saw many bad review in recent post especially for wedding.. But I still want to give a try. Beware when u want to choose this restaurant... My mum just went there one month ago to attend the wedding dinner. hall is very small for 30 tables. The speaker is lousy ( already have bad review before but they seems never fix it at all). You will feel very unconfirmtable when eating. Just think to back home when serve 2nd dishes. When they told u the hall can fit 35 tables. Please becareful. 30 tables also diffiuclt to walk (from table to table, imagine how u going to take group photo) and need to squeze each other. Walk way very small. LCD screen very small. Stage very small. They say Hall 3 for 35 tables? No way. 30 tables already very clouded. At the end I decided to change restaurant by burning the deposit. Also.. Initially thought the deposit can use for dine in (what they said before if we cancel early, only cannot refund). But at the end. They say cannot. Beware and get the black n white. Disappointed. Last time used to be good restaurant. But we really need to check recent review. Have to trust the review as they cannot delete or edit Google review. Both Food and environment also need to be consider when choosing the right restaurant. Many review also say food so so only. Toilet is dirty.

It was never my plan to go to Seremban - we were staying in Avillion and due to the bedbugs incident, I had to take the other half to Seremban to get a jab to reduce the itching and swelling. Safe to say that it would probably be my last time staying there but that was probably the last time I stayed there.

After seeing a doctor, it was already lunch time so I checked out Mr. G for nearby Chinese restaurants and this came out top of the list. Lucky Palace is a popular restaurant in Melaka which has opened a branch in the capital of Negeri Sembilan.

Didn't want to stuff ourselves too much, we ordered just 4 dishes and everything wowed us - but the star dish was undoubtly the braised pork soft bone where the soft bone was gelatine-like soft that it melt in the mouth.. so good that I ordered another helping. The tauhu dish which I forgot the name, fried rice and the nai Pak choy were equally good.

Our first experience here was a good one and I'll make sure to come back here again next time I go...
