This restaurant is famous for its beef noodle. To be specific, the noodle served is called “Lai Fun” in Cantonese and it is served “dry” in thick yummy blackish sauce. The colour and texture is something like Lou Shi Fun (“rat tail” in Cantonese)
At 1.15pm on the Sunday, the restaurant was packed with people. It took about half an hour for the beef noodle to arrive after ordering. Well, it was worth the wait. The noodle was excellent so was the side order of beef balls.

Read moreWe had both the dry and soup version and I must say I wasn't particularly impressed with the dried version. The sauce is artificially thickened with starch like a roux which made it less flavourful and a tad too sticky although I know making it ala demi glace would've made it too expensive for commercial purpose. I find the addition of whole peanuts a distraction on the pallet and should be omitted but the sesame seeds is welcomed. The amount of beef on the dried version is a crime but the same cannot be said of the soup version with more meats and I find their stock to be delightful with the right consistency and taste. The chili sauce is also a must both as a dipping sauce and to add some heat and flavour to the dry version. Not a bad lunch although I would've like slightly more meat with the dry version. That being said I find their pricing to be acceptable within the locality.

Read morecame here just to have a bowl of hot beef noodles in rainy day. There were a few patrons having late lunch around 2pm. The shop was apparently a branch of the seremban pasar stall? the shop interior was simple and it was airconditioned. there are also tables outside. the shop somehow filled with the toilet washing detergent smell. But it was not bugging us at all. We ordered dry and the soup version and a bowl of beef balls. The dry noodles was topped with a brownish thick gravy, some fried peanuts, one or two small slices of salted vegetables. there was not much beef meat though. this is the seremban style dry beef noodles. but the thick sticky gravy was a bit too thick for my taste. the soup version was okay with a mild beefy taste, again the beef meat was way too little considering the price. the beef balls were however...
