I was extremely disappointed with my recent dining experience. First, the steamed fish was shockingly thin, almost translucent. It felt like they were being incredibly stingy with the portion. It was a real struggle to get any substantial meat from it, which was surprising, as I’ve never encountered such a portion, even for just a few diners.
The oyster omelette was another letdown. The dish was overwhelmingly egg, with barely any oysters in sight. When I order an oyster omelette, I expect the oysters to be the highlight, not to have them hidden in an overcooked egg. It was clear they cut corners on the key ingredient.
The sweet and sour pork with the yam basket was likely the best dish of the meal, but even that had its flaws. The pork was decent, but the yam basket was a real disappointment. It lacked any crispness; instead, it was soggy and overly chewy, with a tough fried skin that was hard to enjoy. A yam basket should have a satisfying crunch, but this was completely missing.
The fried rice, however, was passable and didn't disappoint as much as the other dishes.
Overall, the meal fell far short of expectations, and considering the price, it’s certainly not worth it. I won’t be returning, though perhaps I’d consider trying other dishes if I did. Price is reasonable.

Read moreWe visited this restaurant on 27/5/2025 for dinner during a short getaway from KL. We ordered 2 XL crabs (RM118) with two flavors: sweet & sour and marmite BBQ.
The sweet & sour crab was served first, but the meat was mushy with a strong fishy smell. At first, I thought it might just be timing (as my mum used to say, crab texture can sometimes vary with the lunar date). My husband and I only had one piece each — already half the crab — before realizing something was wrong.
When we tried the marmite BBQ crab afterwards, it was clear that the sweet & sour crab was indeed not fresh. We informed the lady who took our order, but she simply said, “You already ate half, so cannot change another one.” We decided not to make a fuss.
At the counter during payment, we mentioned again that the crab wasn’t fresh. Her only response was “Oh”. No apology, no explanation. Unfortunately, my husband also had diarrhea the next day.
This will definitely be my first and last visit. I’m very disappointed, not only with the food quality but also with the way the issue...

Ignored me when I asked the lady a 2nd time next to the empty table, the lady totally ignored me and directly served a larger group with menu and want to take their orders, even though I found a table myself. I find this very disrespectful. I pointed and asked for a smaller table at the end, but claimed also 'reserved'. Why reserved but no reservation sign left on both the tables? This is so unbelievable. Had a toddler who is hungry as well, but was ignored. Came all the way from KL to get this kind of service. Very bad service with attitude problem, wont be coming back.
