Seremban 2, with its vibrant culinary scene, never fails to surprise with its unique amalgamation of flavors. During my recent culinary escapade, I had the pleasure of indulging in a delightful array of dishes at a local eatery, each leaving an indelible mark on my taste buds. Here's a brief review of the gastronomic journey:
Curry Noodles: A bowl of aromatic curry noodles greeted me with its tantalizing fragrance as soon as it arrived at my table. The noodles were perfectly cooked, soaking up the rich and creamy curry broth that was infused with a harmonious blend of spices. Tender slices of chicken and crunchy vegetables added depth to each slurp, making it a comforting and satisfying choice.
Float Drink: To quench my thirst, I opted for a refreshing float drink that perfectly complemented the spiciness of the curry noodles. The fizzy soda mingled with a generous scoop of creamy vanilla ice cream, creating a symphony of flavors that danced on my palate with each sip. It was a delightful concoction that provided a delightful respite from the heat.
Mango Soup Dessert: As the meal reached its climax, I was treated to a divine serving of mango soup dessert. The vibrant hues of the mango puree were a feast for the eyes, while the sweet and tangy flavor of ripe mangoes left a lingering sweetness on my taste buds. Topped with a dollop of coconut cream, this dessert was a heavenly finale to my culinary journey.
Salted Egg Chicken Rice: The salted egg chicken rice dish was a true standout, marrying the rich umami flavor of salted egg with succulent pieces of chicken. Each mouthful was a symphony of textures and tastes, with the creamy salted egg coating enveloping the tender chicken, served alongside fragrant steamed rice. It was a dish that left me craving for more with every bite.
Mee Hoon: Another highlight of the meal was the mee hoon, a traditional Malaysian dish that showcased the versatility of rice vermicelli. Stir-fried to perfection with an assortment of fresh vegetables and savory spices, it was a delightful medley of flavors and textures that left me longing for seconds.
On-the-House Ice Cream: To top off the exquisite dining experience, the restaurant graciously served a complimentary scoop of their homemade ice cream. Creamy, velvety, and indulgent, it was the perfect conclusion to a memorable meal, leaving me with a satisfied smile on my face.
In conclusion, my culinary adventure in Seremban 2 was a delightful exploration of flavors, showcasing the rich tapestry of Malaysian cuisine. From the comforting warmth of curry noodles to the refreshing float drink and the indulgent sweetness of mango soup dessert, each dish left a lasting impression, making it an experience worth savoring time...

I think the kitchen missed out on our pasta order (Spagethi Aglio Olio Smoked Duck/ Salmon fillet/ Luncheon Meat). Coz we noticed that tables came way after us started to gether their orders and some are served pasta also. We have to asked the waiters at least 3 times before we were served 2 out of 3 of our spaghetti order.. When one of the waitress came to ask if all out orders have been received, told her about the last missing order which was the spaghetti Aglio olio with luncheon meat & reminded request for non-spicy (for kids). But when it came, it still has chilli flakes in it and of course the kid complained. The waitress offered to change the order but we didn't wanna wait any longer for the next one to be served so lil kiddo juz finished his 2 slices of luncheon meat. But they willingly offered to cancel this so we didn't need to pay for it. So at least we didn't leave the cafe fuming.
Noticed in the menu that birthday babies of the month will get something complimentary, so we requested for it was Taro balls muah chee for January...
Read moreWas going to give 3 stars but the attitude of the chef was horrible. We ordered the "Chicken Herb Soaked Cooked Rice" 椰肉药材炖鸡泡饭, which translates to Coconut Herbal Chicken rice, it had a miniscule amount of chicken with NO coconut at all. We asked the waitress to reflect this to the chef, but she never came back to us. After paying, we asked the waitress again about the chef's response, and she relayed the chef's response to us, which is and I quote: “有放就有,没有放就没有咯!” which translates to "So what if we didn't???" The audacity! With that said we won't be returning and we urge that others avoid this place. Your hard earned money shouldn't be spent on a place unworthy of it.
The coconut herbal chicken rice was part of a set which also included a soup of the day, which was a bland soup (was it radish??? Couldn't tell because of how bland it was). We also ordered a Butter Milk Fried Chicken Chop, the breading fell apart too easily, the sauce was watery and the fries were so hard they were impossible to be stabbed into with a fork.
Used to love this place when I was younger, I suppose all businesses lose their drive after they...
