If I could give 0 stars for service, I would. So overrated for sub-par food and horrible service. They take "chilled beach cafe" to a whole other level, they can't even be bothered. Should have filmed their staff's demeanour because it was unbelievable how shockingly rude the female cashier, Syaf/Shaf's conduct was. Not only did she have an appalling attitude, but she also shouted at my group when we simply inquired about our delayed food politely.

First, my reservation for a large group was mishandled. Our table was not ready, and staff showed no willingness to assist, leaving us to arrange our own seating. This should have been our first red flag.

After paying for our orders, only 5 out of 8 dishes arrived. We waited and waited. When we tried to get the staff's attention, they were inattentive. The female cashier finally approached but instead of addressing the issue professionally, she appeared visibly irritated and shouted at us when we prompted her. If a restaurant makes a mistake, you could just inform customers accordingly and it would have been fine. Instead, she proceeded to hurl slurs and horrible language at us.

To make matters worse, when we asked for a refund on the unserved dishes, she became even more hostile and refused to assist. This level of unprofessionalism reflects poorly on your cafe. It’s clear that hospitality and customer service are not priorities here. What a shame of a Malaysian...

It is rather confusing, I was impressed by the good reviews and how much people seemed to like it. My experience sadly wasn't positive. Got to the place at dinner time and it was already in full swing. Wasn't greeted, wasn't even acknowledged. Found a table and sat down, realised after a while that I had to order at the bar. Found that out only by asking. Apparently there is a sign but didn't see it. When ordering, the staff made it feel like an imposition to take my orders. The menu is on the wall and they got antsy when we asked questions. I am not a regular, am I supposed to know their intricate ordering system? The place is casual and laid back, which is great, and the atmosphere is nice, but my experience was marred by the staff making it feel unwelcoming. While the food was good, the experience is spoilt by the reception. Could be a bad day, could be that this is just how the place runs. Either way,...

I took early dinner here. Ordered the Beef Burger RM28 and watermelon i forgot but all together the burger and my friend grill chicken with 2 drinks(watermelon fresh juice) cost RM72. They allowed dogs here. The cooks are malays local. My burger was thick with its beef pattie. I couldn't finished it cause i need to eat the fries before its cold. I wish the burger would have salads instead of fries. Just cheap salad will do like our local ulam raja with blanching ulam pegaga. Since import veges are too expensive nowadays. The sauce of the burger was so little and so it tasted quite dry for me. They have ketchup and chili sauce(the common bottle sauce) but i prefer fresh olive oil or black pepper sauce. You need to que to make the order at the counter just like...

Giving this 5 stars in the context of what this restaurant is. It is a casual gathering place on a lovely beach. Friendly and welcoming. Dog friendly. Right on the beach and you have your feet in the sand. Service was good. Only complaint from us was only cans of Tiger available for beer - a nearby bar has a better variety. But it was served ice cold and glasses of ice provided on request (so hot the beer was warming quickly). Filtered ice water also free which was appreciated. We ate here both nights of our break - solid menu and the food looked really good - empty plates returning to the kitchen. But we could not get past the pizza. Blue cheese pizza both nights. One of the best pizzas I’ve had in Malaysia. And it is excellent value

Visited mid Jan 2023. It's very quiet as it's low season. Nice place though very cute, great view as you're sat on the beach. There's only 1 type of beer, and no vegan food option on the menu. It is confusing where to order as there's 3 different stations and staff is not at all proactive. Even if you're wandering around for 5 minutes looking for a staff member they walk straight past you instead of asking if they can help you. Ended up not eating here as nothing vegan on the menu and no staff seem interested. Come here to chill and for a beer though.
