I’ve eaten here every year when visiting my hometown with my family. And everytime it’s always too crowded, they always forget about our order and needed to be reminded constantly. I get they’re popular and busy. But years after years I expect the slightest bit of improvement to be disappointed yet again. I don’t get why they are popular either unless they’re popular for being mid. To me, it ain’t even mid. Unless my taste it under-developed, there is literally no flavour in the wonton noodles except for the slightest bit of bitterness. I will say that the texture of the noodles is one of the best. But that’s just it. The texture of their noodles are great. Beyond that, their service sucks with no improvements year after year, the food is mid, and dining in there is something I wouldn’t wish for my worst enemies. I give this place a hawk tuah and hope to not eat here for the...

Chance upon this stall selling wanton noodle the previous day while we had the food from the neighboring stall. According to my friend, this stall is very popular with the locals. The wanton noodle comes in 2 prices. MYR$7.50 or MYR$8.50. The difference being the latter comes with braised chicken feet. I was informed by the aunty that the waiting time will be a while.

Waited for almost 15mins before my food came. The bowl of wanton mee comes with both fried and normal wanton. Portion was rather generous. The wanton noodle here is the typical black sauce kind. Noodle was nicely cooked, texture of noodle was springy. Sauce was a little too much i feel.

Overall, a above average bowl of wanton...

This corner shop has 3 names tagged on google map. Not sure which one is the correct name. The name of the shop is not clearly displayed.

The wanton mee seems to be the most popular stall in this shop. I think it is edible. Good? Not really. Remember that this is Bentong. Bentong is well known for durians and ginger. It is not famous for wanton mee, or whatever mee or Yong taufoo for that matter. Don't expect too much. The coffee and tea in this coffeeshop is also no good. But then, this...

Firstly, you probably need 30mins to be seated and another 40-45min for wantan mee (maybe just weekend). Bad service, I know they are busy at least shall talk friendly but no shout to customer (shall respect old folk and explain nicely!). Regarding taste, to be honest the noodle just middle range, maybe homemade noodle nothing special, you can get much tasty outside. Im here bcoz of local recommendation from AirAsia magazine, rating are no reliable. I will not give 2nd chance !!!
