Price were steep, taste were mediocre or perhaps slightly above average.but if ur going in a big group, pls make sure that u counter check the price.they are overcharging alot.i dont know whether it's by mistake or purposefully as we tend to overlook if we r in a big group.but I have came across this similar pattern for both the times I went there.plus,I had a few of my relatives who went there who experienced similar incident. As far as I'm concerned,on this part of the town (raub),there are almost no proper choice of indian food.therefore,it explains the pricing n the lack of variety they have there.pricing were expensive even by means of comparison with KL. Average food n taste, limited variety n comparably very steep price even compared to KL bcz there is no competition.parking was a hassle too as the restaurant is placed in a corner which is buffeted with cars at all times bcz the location is at the very core of the town. My recommendation: a place to go if u are craving for indian food in a deserted town that has no choice n if ur willing to dig in ur pocket for something that can b spent better elsewhere...this is after going through a congested traffic with no proper parking place n a crowded place most of the times too. Not worth if u intend to go for a place worth the money n hassle that u gonna be through.u could place ur money in a better place, for a better taste n...

Raub, also known as Musang King Town, is not only famous for durian. About 20-30 minutes further up from the popular one-day-trip town of Bentong, Raub also has its own charm.
For the uninitiated, Ratha Curry Fish Head is already famous since the 80s. Some of the famous patrons include the royalties of Pahang and the infamous ex-PM 😬 for me, my fondest memory would be my dad bringing back their curry fish head after working trip in Raub.
Their signature dish ie. Fish head curry (RM65 for small) is cooked in a thick gravy with a well-balanced flavour of spicy and sourness. You will know upon first taste that this is a great-tasting curry from the colour & aroma itself. Ratha's uses their house blend of herbs& spices and to concoct their very own special curry paste uniquely to them. Portion-wise enough to feed 3-4 person easily.
Some of the popular dishes include fried lamb chop with spices, fried chicken and sambal sotong.
Note: They also have branches in Damansara Utama and Gohtong Jaya - can't say much for Gohtong Jaya, but I'd tried their Uptown outlet and safe to say that the taste is similar (if not the same) as their...
Read moreOverall 2.5⭐. We are fans of Ratha Raub (Damansara Utama, PJ, and Gohtong Raya) and coming to the original branch would have been the perfect pilgrimage. It was anything but; instead a total letdown.
The only positives were the curry fish head and fried fish. That was Ratha Raub standard: fish was fresh, vegetable and tofu pok were plentiful and the curry sauce a perfect blend of spiciness, aroma and was banjir-worthy! Fried fish was freshly fried.
It was downhill all the way with the rest of the food unfortunately!
Roti tisu - too thick and with too much sugar Roti Canai and telur - too doughy; the roti canai needs fluffing up with the clap of hands (not chopped into pieces 😱) Fried chicken and pria - lost their crispiness (they were not freshly fried) Sotong curry - tasted OK but too greasy Lamb cutlets - way too greasy; overfried and chao tah a bit
We were a table of 5 males and belong to the generation that would typically finish their food. We didn't. Those who live in Klang Valley are better off going to PJ for their fix of good Indian...
