Went there at 6pm for dinner. Place was not crowded and easy to get a table.

Food did not take long to arrive, around 15 mins after ordering, only the fish took really long to arrive.

When the fish arrived the waitress came ad told us the kitchen got the order wrong (we ordered catfish) and made a patin, which was slightly more expensive. She told us she will still charge us the catfish price for it since it was THEIR MISTAKE. We didn't see any harm from accepting it so we did. The moment we tasted the fish we noticed that it was cold as the fire was gone. Seems like the fish was not mistakenly made but was rejected by some customer. We decided to just ignore it as it was offered to us at a lower price.

The food came in quite small portions and we had to order 2 additional dishes to satiate ourselves. The food was decent, nothing to shout about but we enjoyed it.

When it was time to pay, surprisingly we found that they did not reduce the price of the fish and charged us based on the price of patin. When we called the waitress to inform her about it she denied ever offering us that reduced price and told us in a very rude manner. Since the price difference is not that big we just walked away but method used to handle this situation is downright unprofessional and we vow to NEVER return to this restaurant ever again.

There are better restaurants near the main highway like 128 and 126 which are great but can be slightly packed at times. In this case I think waiting is better than...

This place was recommended by a friend for their tasty ginger chicken noodle soup. We ordered two types of noodle 1) rice noodle with chicken soup and ginger, , 2) river prawns with glass noodle soup. While the first was nice, the 2nd noodle ( most expensive dish of the meal) was underwhelming. The supposedly big river prawns were disappointing. I fedback that they tasteless and lacked the freshness that was needed for this style. Since it was their signature dish. I would have appreciated that they took note of concern or say they will look into it, instead of shrugging me off like a troublesome customer. I ended up packing most of the prawn glass noodle as leftover (not because it was so tasty but that it costs quite a bit to waste the dish). Will check out other options of dining next time, preferring to give this place a miss. I doubt that what I say will affect their business — feel free to enjoy your...

It was our late lunch at this restaurant after visiting the premium outlet at Genting Highlands. It was recommended by my cousin. She said their crispy pork belly was the best she had ever tried. And true enough, we enjoyed it tremendously. It was good as a dish alone and also just as good with noodles. They were so delicious. We also ordered their signature steamed chicken with ginger and beehoon. It was good as well. Added on their Bentong yeong taufu pok. It didn't really have much taste. We suspected the tasty crispy pork belly overpowered all the other dishes. We also ordered their signature fried taufu with minced pork. Our token vegetables dishes were stir-fried French beans and watercress. Since the crispy pork belly was so good, most of us had them as takeaway. Their pricing were...

A nice lay-by as you travel from Kl to the east coast, this restaurant amidst the misty and cool bukit tinggi area serves authentic Cantonese fares at reasonable prices. While there are a number of such restaurants in the area this is the least tourisy one and has been serving warm meals to locals and travellers alike for decades. Among their specialty is the bentong ginger meehoon served with kampung chicken, the succulent meat stuffed tofu, steamed ginger fish, village grown greens, oven baked ribs and many more delicacies. They also sell various home made ingredients, local produce and confectioneries if you want to buy and bring back home on trips. Price: 5/5 Taste: 5/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Parking: 3/5
