De Sundays Café — Restaurant in Penang

The environment here is relaxing and the customers were considerate to each other during our time here so it was not very noisy.

The parking spaces are limited though and you have to be lucky to get the 2 spots in front of the cafe.

We did not have a problem with the staff service and that is a welcoming sight. There isn’t a lot of cake variety so desserts aren’t the place’s strong suit. Food-wise, our fish&chips was alright but the noodles could be better.

However, the food prices are a little bit expensive if you look at the Asian noodle dishes (RM20+ price/bowl). Overall, this is a good place to visit but you should be wise to order the worthy dishes to get value...

Nice staff, polite service and chill environment. Just bring my girl here and telling her this is one of my favourite restaurants. But end up so embarrassing about the food.

No ideal what’s going on food, I can taste the blood of chicken, seem like no marinated before grill, wrong heat, no Maillard reactions, yet so much fascia every bite, definitely didn’t process right while preparation.

Ordered 3 dishes; Black Pepper chicken chop rice which surprised me with a tasteless black pepper sauce (zero salt). Salmon Aglio olio which also tasteless. Crispy chicken chop but with a soggy chicken . But this come with a tasty BBQ sauce.
