DEBOB COFFEE, CAFE - Western Food, Kopi, Spaghetti & Event Space — Restaurant in Penang

By far the worst service I have had in my 2023. Had dinner with my family at their Bandar Perda place today (26-12-2023). Albeit their fair quality of food, unfortunately I can't even bring myself to say anything close as to their service. (1) Extremely LATE and POOR service; (2) Their QR order did not work; (3) The Staff did not enter our order despite already manually written and given to the counter girl, until we noticed other tables were served with their meals despite arriving later than we did, we were told that they JUST entered our order for whatever reasons only known to them; (4) Wrongly sent our orders; (5) Forget to send one of our order until we had to actually asked for our meal; (6) NO REMORSE NOR APOLOGY from ANY of their staffs until a young male staff at the counter offered a discount (although not asked) and sincerely apologised; (7) One of the staff had the audacity to utter "lambat sikit saja" after all that happened and did not even apologise nor seem remorseful

It was not my first visit. Despite their slightly slow service (most of the time previously), to be honest I am more than proud to see this successful F&B chain run and operated by a fellow Malay entrepreneur grow, BUT I believe there's A LOT of improvement needed on their service especially the staffs attitude.

If you are fine settling with nothing near to bare minimum level of service for such a price, then this place might be...

Just wanted to say I'm really disappointed with my recent visit on 25th May 2025. We had to wait so long for our food, and when it finally arrived, everything was cold. The black pepper sauce, the chicken, and the fries were all super oily.

I had actually been there earlier this year too, and this visit was even worse. The worst part — the chicken had a weird smell and tasted like it wasn’t fully cooked.

We also ordered curly fries but never got them, even after we finished eating. The only good thing was the drinks — still as nice as always.

I’ve been a loyal customer for a while, but this experience really let me down. Please improve the food quality and service — I really hope this gets...

Came here a few times before but today will be the last. 1st 4 photos were from 2 years ago. Last 2 photos from today.

Ordered spaghetti bolognese meatballs with chicken chop. Chicken chop was overcooked. The batter was too crispy. The bolognese sauce too little.

Mushroom soup was watery. Didn't taste like mushroom at all. Hot drinks like coffee are not available due to steam machine is down. Why call Debob Coffee when there's no coffee to serve?? Most of the item from the menu not available like burgers.

We were very disappointed with our food today and decided this will be our last. Please improve on your food quality rather than quantity. There's still...
