We stumbled upon this delightful little cafe in our hunt for dinner and we were thoroughly surprised!!!
The atmosphere was very cosy, with a high degree of comfortability and calmness.
The food was in a word, excellent! We tried some of their recommended dishes; Chicken Cutlet with Signature Hot Sauce, the coated chicken was fried just right and there wasn't any hint of oiliness Caribbean Baked Fish, the fish was fresh and juicy, without the pesky fishy odour Caesar Salad, which was a surprise with the fruits, chopped nuts and an especially fragrant and unique flavoured drizzled sauce and Deep Fried Zucchini, lightly battered, still crispy to the palate and again, well drained. We also added the Italian Herbs Rice with Tiger Prawns, the rice was so fragrant and fluffy, and the prawns were sautéed perfectly! Perfectly sized portions, generous and left us satieted, but not overstuffed; the nice warm feeling of being fed right 😊 We ordered 2 drinks, the Iced Flat White anf the Iced Strawberry Lychee, both of which retained its taste right up to the last drop. A meal is never complete without desserts, their Homemade Tiramisu and Choc Mint Cake (House Cake) was a love affair not to be missed!
The service, even just 3 days since opening their doors, was truly impeccable. The staff were professional in their service, taking care of patrons with a keen eye to provide assistance a moment's notice. Mok was super gracious and ever so helpful in recommending dishes for us to select for our dinner.
This is a definitely a superb go-to cafe in the heart of BM, a quaint little town across the bridge...
Read morePros : Staff is friendly and environment is comfortable.
Cons : The price is absolutely absurd for the portion of food you get. I ordered 2 fish dishes and 1 chicken dish. The chicken portion was decent, though just barely enough to consider a meal.
Here comes the fun part : The fish portion was nothing short of a joke. When it arrived, I was so stunned, I was literally left speechless—in the worst way possible. I honestly thought they had forgotten something. I was served a so-called "generous" portion that could barely pass for a snack: barely 3 inches (7 cm) of fish, half a carrot, a sad onion ring, and some mashed potatoes. I get that they’re trying to be “elegant,” but what’s the point of looking fancy if you barely serve any food?
The taste? Average at best. But the pricing? Not justified. There are plenty of places that justify small portions with outstanding taste, but this isn’t one of them. This place isn’t about food—it’s about putting on a pretty display. If you want to pay to look at food rather than eat it, this place might be for you. This is my first review on Google, and I had to write it because I don’t think my disappointment could be topped anytime soon. I picked this place out of the many cafes in this area due to the overwhelmingly positive reviews thinking that it could be a hidden gem, and instead discovered...
Read moreExcellent food with a good variety of choices. Key things to look for : Salmon was tender and fresh paired with a delicious lemon sauce that perfectly complimented the fish. Cajun chicken requires a slightly longer wait time but is absolutely worth every minute it took. The meat comes off the bone and the bbq sauce was fiery yet tangy. 3.Mash potato, although only a side in the dishes it absolutely deserves to be the star of its own dish, cant get enough of that delicious mash. 4.Fried zucchini was a refreshing yet irresistible snack that does not ask for a compromise between taste and health, must try for anyone looking for a refreshing bite sized snack Tiramisu lovers will appreciate the tiramisu here as its not overly sweet and will fulfill your cravubgs.
Portions were generous with reasonable pricing, a perfect place to indulge yourself. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good meal and...
