LokeYun Kopitiam【家樂園咖啡店】 — Restaurant in Perak

Environment here is nice, however the aircond can increase the temperature a bit. So many people and they put 26°C for the aircond.

Personally, I think this place is overrated. The waiting time to enter this restaurant is very long and after I enter, the table aren't wiped properly and I have to wait another 5 minutes for then to give me the menu. There's also other tables that they haven't wipe and it's empty which cause the long queue outside.

Food: Dry Curry Chicken Noodles: Taste like normal Dry Noodles rather than Dry Curry Chicken Noodles. They should scoop the curry chicken, potato and some curry sauce together to make the noodles less dry.

Mala Pan Mee: The soup taste like an instant soup from maggi. I've tested better Mala Pan Mee in Kampar. So, this is a no go for me.

Siew Mai: It's quite big and taste like a handmade Siew Mai and the fillings definitely have a lot of carrots in it.

Handmade Kaya & Butter Toast: I could only comment the fact that they cut a slice of bread in half horizontally which is the first time I'm seeing this. Normally other shops would use 1 whole piece of bread and cut it in rectangle shape which brings to 4 pieces of bread in 1 serving. (You'll understand after seeing the photo posted below)

Like Yun Coffee: Taste like any other Cham coffee you can get at kopitiam.

These are the reasons for the ratings I'm giving. This restaurant located at the old town area maybe targeting for locals. There's of course some things to improve since this shop...

This morning, we went out for breakfast and waited a long time for our food. We understand that it’s a busy period due to CNY. After a while, the toasted bread and fried shrimp rolls were served, but our drinks were still missing.

My mum needed warm water to take her meds, which we had written down to when ordering. We called the staff in the pic below — the 1st time she didn’t hear us, the 2nd time she signaled us to wait. Fair enough, we’re willing to wait.

But after that, she walked past us several times without helping. If her job is just to handle food orders, that’s fine. But if you’re not coming over, why not let another colleague know? That’s just basic courtesy.

Also, when the food is already right next to the customer, please inform them and place it properly on the table. The staff forcefully pushed the food into my hand twice. What if it had been a hot dish? This is both unprofessional and unsafe. Anyways, the food...
